If coachability is that important, thank goodness that I used to play soccer at the academy of one of the best clubs in asia. That is where I earned coachability.
Yeah? Where’d you play?
@@TilWeMakeItThe school of hard knocks bro 😤
William regal left foot scenario ...simple instruction with a big effect
There was one particular person who did it right the first time in that video. And if you remember who it was, you also know how far they've made it since then, no doubt in large part because they listened and were highly coachable!
A lot of this is just life and business. People with college degrees jump to checkout supervisor ahead of being on the checkout, people know people who can help them more with an interview and people get jobs because of who their dad is, in literally every field of industry. You beat it with perseverance, hard work and the right attitude while leveraging any advantage you have as well. And sometimes you just have to accept that you’re not going to beat it and that’s not a reflection on you.
I have no ambition or will to join the WWE but damn this video helped me so much, these tips apply in any sort of workplace or company outside of the WWE
I’m glad it was helpful!
These videos have been pretty helpful in the buildup to taking Davey Richard's class. I'm certainly not an athlete yet even if I ache like one, but I feel like I showed up as "ready" as someone could figuratively be as a 30 year old gamer. 🤷🏻♂️
Glad to read this! How long have you been training with Davey?
@@TilWeMakeIt Two weeks in, it's not much but I feel like I've learned way more than I expected to in that amount of time. There's some great coaches on the team and Davey is one heck of a leader.
@@Razolo how long is his school training?
@@jonathancoleman6482 You can get more details on his class by looking up Team Ambition.
Reality can certainly be unfair, but you have to learn how to make up for it in your own way. Which is true in any profession.
And be realistic. I just attended a pro wrestling fantasy camp this past weekend (weirdly, running the ropes was my favorite part, even if it left my armpit and right calf sore for a few days!), and tomorrow will be signing up for real at Chase Del Monte's school in Northern MA to begin my journey proper.
But I'm starting at 35, and was never a star athlete, with the most going for me in the athletic sense being an okay local-level powerlifter. I'm going in knowing my odds of even getting looked at over younger athletes and models is very, very slim, no matter how well I take to the training and performances. But that means I'll have to find the things that I can uniquely do that and bring those up as much as I can! So even if I never set foot inside the Performance Center, I feel like I may still be able to find a place for me.
Maturity is an advantage few others training alongside you will possess, Jackgar!
@@TilWeMakeIt That's what I'm banking on!
Although there was a teeny tiny bit of awkwardness when I saw how much younger everyone but my friend who did it with me was. But I'll show those whippersnappers what for!
@@JackgarPrime Knock 'em dead, man!
I'm right there with you brother! I'm starting training next week at age 33. Nervous but NO ONE is gonna out work me💪🏾

Thanks for that, Marcus!
I’m hoping 29 isn’t too old to train I gotta try and see for myself if this is for me. Watched wrestling since 2012 and don’t want to risk waiting
Would you say that College Athletes and Pro/semi pro Athletes are at the same level in terms of cutting the line? For example GIOVANNA EBURNEO A black belt in jujitsu and I BJJF champion Who is wwe recruit would she be equivalent to someone who is a Track athlete at Alabama State University?

Can community college students do pro wrestling
Absolutely!
Hello, I'm 23 years old and I'm considering a career in professional wrestling for WWE, I go on walks in a two block radius, I go to the Gym when I can and I'm also taking boxing lessons, i'm very close to finishing my last year of college and I'm going to be joining a wrestling club at some point, i'm from the UK, admittedly i'm not physically fit at the moment, however I am working on that, i even have an idea for a character persona, I do know that I will have a very long way to go and I don't mind that at all, I would like to know what else I can do to understand the intricacies of professional wrestling and to be better prepared for whatever comes, this is a career decision that I have made for myself and I want to see where it takes me.
Hi Adem! I appreciate you taking the learning of the craft seriously. To understand the intricacies, dive into what is hear on the channel as hard as you can, and I have even more educational material over on my Patreon (link in the description.) Dive in head-first and learn as much as you can while you grind away on your fitness goals. Treat this preparation like a job, because a WWE audition is essentially a job interview.
@TilWeMakeIt thank you so much, and I will, when I was younger I didn't understand what wrestling even was, and when you're that young you don't understand how things work, but when I started watching WWE I started getting more and more interested in it and even found wrestlers who became my favourites, like Drew Mclntyre, Edge, the Rock, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio, the Undertaker, Goldberg and even Stone Cold Steve Austin.
@@TilWeMakeIt I'm also autistic.
I heard WWE was cutting back on the "next in line" tryouts after the horrible try out in Nashville. They legit let NO Indy wrestlers try out. Just college athletes with ZERO training and 5-6 got badly hurt. Then I heard they where getting hurt doing basic drills like rope running and severe concussions taking bumps. What did they expect? They are not just going to find another Kurt Angle or Brock. Lets be honest. How many of those types of guys WANT to be in the WWE or want to just use it to move on to greater things? Who was the guy that they brought out at WM to hype up? DUDE LEFT weeks after. Funny to think myself and others who where trained by the WWE's best trainer of all time in Knoxville only to be turned away for a try out only to then hear how they where frustrated by the horrible talent that showed up to try out with ZERO training. It would be funny if it wasn't causing good talent I personally know a legit chance to show what they can do. EVEN if I was passed over to SHOW them what I can do and get pointers and tips and critics to better myself would of been worth its weight in gold. BUT instead they turn us away for guys who probably only see the WWE as a stepping stone to get to Hollywood.
It will be very interesting to see what the fall out of all the Nashville injuries ends up being, and its impact on future try-outs.
Wow is this recent how long ago
@@jonathancoleman6482 Summerslam Weekend.
@@TilWeMakeIt i now wonder how much that will change under the leadership of HHH writing, Stephanie being married into the wrestling world, and HBK being the director of NXT and overaeeing recruiting as well.
Reapectfully, Vince wasn't a wrestler and most of his staffers weren't outsidr of a few key names. The new regime is pretty well endowed with former wrestlers who came up from legitimate schools/indy promos prior to their major signings even if it were at a young age
I feel a little bad for them because very few former WWE Superstars move on successfully to Movies/Hollywood and wrestling would just be brutal if you have no desire or passion to do it. They're being sold a bill of goods. Triple H doesn't seem to care where the talent is coming from though as long as its talent, so Indy come ups are possible again.
Does the WWE ever pick college baseball players
Any college athlete, regardless of sport 👍🏼
One of their latest recruits, Kale Dixon, was a college baseball player
Is 28 too old to start wrestling?
Not really, look at DDP. But you really have to be dedicated to the craft to catch up
