Could you help me how to extracting square roots of (2x+1)²=9
(2x+1)²=9
2x+1=V9 and 2x+1= -V9
2x+1= 3 and 2x+1= -3
2x = 2 and 2x = -4
x = 1 and x = -2
Check:
When x = 1, (2(1)+1)²=9 , (3)²=9 , 9 =9
When x = -2, (2(-2)+1)²=9 , (-4+1)² =(-3)²=9 , 9 =9
