  • 🌈M&M EXPERIMENT🌈
This classic experiment never disappoints 🤩. The other day I did it in Nickys classroom and all 18 students were stunned (including Nicky who has done it a million times 🤪). I shared it in my stories and a bunch of you had questions so I figured a tutorial would help 😜. Watch the final clip. I make the classic rainbow, color mixing triangle, color blocking rectangle and a heart for Valentine’s Day ❤️. I could watch it allllll day 🤗. I sped up the colors spreading but in reality the circular rainbow took 2.5 minutes to spread completely.
    👉🏼YOU’LL NEED:
-m&m’s -Water (warm water will make it run faster)
    -White plate
    👉🏼INSTRUCTIONS:
1️⃣Make a pattern using the m&ms on the perimeter of the plate. You can make shapes as well.
2️⃣Add a little bit of water starting in the enter of the shape. Just enough water to fill the plate but not too much that will make the m&ms float.
3️⃣Watch the colors spread 🤩. 💡I like to talk about patterns (what they are and how to make one), color mixing (just make a pattern with two colors and watch them make a new color) and why the colors spread so easily (they are made of colored sugar and sugar dissolves in water quickly) ❤️
