It's because this is such an unknown easter egg (and a super cute one at that) for the casual Splatoon player.
btw u di miss one. very occasionally he can be inside the lobby bit when the doors slide open (Still in splatsville square, not in the training room) but good vid as I didn't even THINK to look in some of these places. nice one
I'd like to imagine that after the story, the residence of Splatsville would simply hire Little Buddy to do some errands for them and pay him in eggs.
Or in the office, there's a "Bring your child to work day" happening and deep cut just so happened to bring Buddy in.
Whenever I see Little Guy (Just a nickname I call the Smallfry) appear on the screen when I load up the game, I squeal “BABYYYYY” 😂

I love that the lil guy hangs around everywhere, it's such a cute touch! I actually found lil buddy in front of Hotlantis during my first splatfest when the full game came out and it was such a nice surprise! I even took pics! Such a precious little baby.

The funny part about the one behind your spawn on the ground, he looks like he’s in jail during a splatfest
I knew about all of these but the high up sign near hotlantis, I only found that one when I started panicking during the first Big Run because I couldn't find him after a shift, I only found him after seeing a flash of red from the staircase. I was so mad at him you have no idea. I felt like a mother who had lost her child only to find them in like a plush catcher or something. I love this little goober so much

You missed one. He can also spawn rarely inside the lobby elevator. He kinda jumpscared me the first time that happened lol

Indeed! To my knowledge, you have forgotten ONE place where we can find Smally (the name I give it to him).
Do you see that chair next to the Salmon Run at 2:53 ?
You can also find Smally here, looking at the entrance with fear.
Which makes sense because first of all, that's the place where Mr. Grizz works and second... *WE KILL HIS FAMILY HERE, GODDAMMIT!!! 😭💔*

That's the shel-drone, you get it after completing the story mode in alterna. It gives you goodies like cash, ability chunks, or decorations for your locker!
@@mossyquartzz It's not just after completing the story mode. I think you have to find all the collectibles? Not sure.
Just checked, it's when you finish alterna at 100%, so all collectibles, all levels, and all map exploration
