Totally agree with Mr Yadav, vibrant democracy needs a strong opposition also. The priority of thia government should be implementation of two child policy , education reforms , creation of employment opportunities and a strong economy . But I also differ that there is a environment of fear for any community . I belong to the border state of Assam here Massive demographic changes had been in made the past decades , so also in Bengal which is a source of fear for Indians , which is not being addressed by any media so far .

1. Democracy is flawed to the core
2. Everyone shouldn't be given the right to vote (regressive as it may sound)
3. It's impossible to remain in a artificially structured system, without skirmishes.
4. Fragmentation is inevitable for harmony
5. People always don't make the best choice (an explanation of the 1st point).
6. Meritocracy and an appraisal model should be in place.

Except for point 2(which can be justified with point 5), I don't find any other points in need for debate. The problem is people tend to think that ideas remain concrete throughout time, but it's a fact that everything deviates with time. What we need is flexibility. People change and so does their values, perceptions, tolerance, aspirations,etc. In that sense a democracy is flawed.
