Oh my, what a beautiful area. Kristy you do such a wonderful job of filming and documenting where you are. Following with my atlas. Thank you. Take care. Be safe💕
Fun video! Would like to see setting up the tent in the afternoons, unpacking the backpacks, making dinner, bedding down.. All that would be fun additions and would break up the video into sections, day by day.
That was a massive climb...you do expect much from your body.. impressive, prayers for a calm speedy cell replacement ( recovery) and some great laughs.Sleep well Superb photography the sky was so clear...ahhh thanks for sharing
Hey girls, its me ! Your biggest fan ! Great video, so good to see you all back on the PCT, classic Wander Women ! The scenery is treeeemendous !! T;hank you and stay safe.
Back in the day (1986 when I was 36), I thru-hiked the PCT and went back later to hike from Donner Summit to the Mexican border again to experience the Sierras one more time and the new section through the Tehachapi mtns. The Sierras were sure a lot easier the second time during mid-summer than they were in early spring (the snow, the snow....) during the thru-hike. I'm an old man now, but still backpacking and sure like to reminisce by watching these types of videos.
It's such a beautiful section there. I've followed a few PCT thru hikes thus year, and others went thru Kearsarge and Forester when it was all still snow. It certainly looks a lot different, but it is still a challenge in summer. I hope Annette feels better now
You have been to such incredibly beautiful places this summer and continue to be such an inspiration to keep reaching for the next peak, one step at a time. ❤ Hope Annette feels better!
Being above the treeline is so difficult for me. The air is thin and the sharp rocky scenery isn't my thing. Do you find it difficult? It feels like an accomplishment when I'm done though.
Comfort! I developed a skin allergy to the fabric in pants anf decided to try a skirt. I've found it so comfy and easy to layer that I've never gone back.
Spectacular beauty! When I hike I try to channel your energy. You are all so strong and inspiring. Thank you and keep on keeping on 😊

Oh, my…the Sierras are certainly something! Those little alpine lakes (lochins in Scots!) are just the most beautiful things!
It is amazing what John Muir did and yes indeed another beautiful hike. Wow, quite the climbs.
Wow a couple of very tough peaks to climb, well done! beautiful area.

Wow doing a 13 and a 14! You guys are amazing! I rode the cog train up to Pike's peak at 14+ and I can't imagine hiking up. Beautiful lakes and views.
You ladies Rock!!!
I have always wanted to do that.
Nice to see it through your adventures!
Wow the views!! Thanks for taking us all with you!! 😊😊
Another great hike you took me on. Thank you.
The highest I’ve ever been is 10,000 feet! I hope I don’t get a nose bleed going 14,000 feet with you guys!! 😂
Absolutely beautiful!!
Is that your sister with you? So beautiful there, I'm hoping to be there next year--crossing fingers for a permit. Thanks for taking us along,
No, just a friend

We absolutely love it!
Okay - I have to ask, is the hiking skirt for comfort or religious reasons? 😊
Comfort! I developed a skin allergy to the fabric in pants anf decided to try a skirt. I've found it so comfy and easy to layer that I've never gone back.
@@jmkats thanks for answering! You are AMAZING just like my two friends Annette and Kristy!! I admire all of you! 😊
@@christyjohnson4563 ah thanks! The reward always seems to be worth the effort.
