Good stuff. Thanks for the excellent quality video. Those drone shots of you going up are rad. It’s not something I have seen yet and gives a better experience for the viewer to appreciate the steepness and deepness of the snow. I’m sure your channel will blow up.
Awesome video! I threw a Silber on my ‘19 Alpha last year after wanting one for a while, all I can say is wow haha. Can’t believe I waited that long. I doubt I’ll have a non turbo’d sled again
Excellent video. Been playing phone tag with Justin trying to align a purchase and install for December if possible…but like you said at the end of the video, WE NEED SNOW! Maybe this isn’t the year for boost. From your video, it sounds like the silber kit runs great! Have ran Boondocker in the past with great success, pull and go. Again, excellent video!! Good information.
Arctic cat parts availability has been on the decline for a few years now.... the season is too short to loose weeks waiting for parts. I have tried 2 different silber turbo sleds now and im hoping someday the stars will align and I can build one! Nice review btw
It really is too bad. I wish they’d revamp their sled team (business side, not athletes) from the top down and take it a bit more seriously. For textron, snowmobiling is so tiny it’s hard for them to really pay much attention (it seems).
I see you've had both polaris 800 and 850 turbos. Whose kits did you have? How did they compare to each other? I've been ridding turbo sleds for about 6 years now. All polaris. A lot of pro chassis stuff. I've ridden every turbo kit ever made for the pro chassis (aside from custom stuff), and I've owned 7 turbo pros alone. That being said, I bought an axys 800 and put a boondocker sidekick kit on it because I wanted something pull cord. All my pro stuff was either fully mountain dedicated on race/av, or required tuning changes, clutching changes, boost level adjustments, etc. as i changed elevations. I wanted to get away from that, hence the sidekick. Just wondering how the 850 turbo compared to the 800. And what your experiences have been with different kits on the polaris platform. Ive heard good things about silber, although they left a bad taste in my mouth with some early pro chassis turbo stuff. I've heard good things about silber, although, again, bad experience with the pro stuff. Redline is supposed to be good but haven't ridden one and never really talked to anyone that had one. And boondocker is supposed to get you the pull cord, but guys i've talked to said they actually preferred their 800 sidekick over 850 sidekick. Anyway, just curious what your experience was with it, what kit you ran, the comparison between 850, and 800, etc.
How did it seem side hiling? My alpha is stock, all my previous sleds the turbo creeps up and washes out your side hills so your pointing up the hill... I became a better rider with out a turbo though, just much more predictable. Half throttle does the sled want to rev out or will it somewhat keep going ok? Used to always flick the throttle on and off all day because again turbos creeping up and only way to keep it from becoming rich and all that stuff lol
Love IT! What exhaust gas temps are you seeing after the silber install on your alpha? I’m running 2-3 gallons of 100LL per tank at 6-10k. You think I’m good?
Pov you are me: You have never had a snowmobile over 60 hp and maybe wants to get one with 165 hp... Is that a good thing to upgrade to? (Im talking about the hardcore alpha 2019)
Hey man looking at getting a 19 alpha as my first sled. I have 15hrs or so on the mountain on a 2002 mc600 and 2011 ski doo. You think going to the monorail straight away would be a good choice or bad? I would be riding in some easier areas with less snow to start but would be getting deeper snow as i progress
I agree with Jeff. Im not a super skilled rider and have rented an alpha for a few days and all I can say is wow. So much easier to ride than the other brands, although they are also good. Easy to figure out how to get on edge and pow carve.
@@Ryanbalazs I like it. Its my first mono, so I can't compare it to the Lochsa. I do like the styling better than the Klim stuff, but thats a personal thing. My only complaint is it can get a bit hot on warmer days (I also "run hot"), but I do have a different setup for that all together (lighter ski stuff). For mid winter, its perfect. (Dec-mid March). Going into its second season and no complaints.
I forgot how clean your videos are. Nothing in your face or pushing opinion. Very refreshing.

Haha great video. Love that at 3:10 when you talk about your buddies poaching tracks, you are indeed poaching!
To be fair those were my tracks ;)
Good, clean, straight to the point video with out any intro/music non sense. 👍
my first turbo sled ride made me have that giggle and smile of terror. same thing i got the first time i went from a 600cc to a 1000cc street bike.

you should try a pind rail brace with their coupler, helps keep the wheelies down if thats what you want to do
Love the video
I burnt an old snowmobile. Big blizzard coming tomorrow. SCIENCE!
Looks amazing!
Gotta try out a sidewinder!

Can we also see a comparison review between the new polaris and the cat?
What drone are you using? Does it follow you?
I love that wrap. Where did you get it?
What clutch and weight setup gave you issues?
Team or adapt?
Great video! About how many km have you put on this cat with the turbo?
Do you have any sound clips? Is that kit loud?
How many grams did you run in your primary? Also what elevation are you riding at?

You'll be totally fine. I'll have to look back at my notes but I wasn't looking at EGTs too often.
Such a helpful, yet entertaining video.
How did you adjust psi / or know the boost levels with adjusting.
Also, how much AvGas do you run typically

how much av gas to 94 ratio ? did u run
What gopro do you use and where do you mount it?
Hi! I use the chin mount on a full face most of the time.
I just put a silber on my 2021 Khaos 850. How strict are you with your fuel mixture? 91 and Av Gas?
Give me a ring on this one - Nine SEVEN ZERO 219 ZERO 258

Are you ready to sell that cat? 🐈 😻 😺 🐱, iam looking.

Ether.

@@JeffreyJim09 Cool, thanks. I like the style over the Lochsa too. Might give the Ether a try, I like the orange and the Sympatex fabric
