Also you brought this up in a different episode but whatever: the Kelvin timeline doesn’t have its own wiki, but all the characters and uniforms and stuff have separate articles with “(alternate timeline)” appended to the name. So Bruce Greenwood would be listed under “Christopher Pike (alternate timeline)”. Or maybe it’s alternate universe? Oh well either way. Point stands lol

Wait, is Heather younger than me? I’m 28 and had a cassette walkman with dubs from vinyl (and CD) until saving up for my first MP3 player at 10 years old. But I guess Discmans were more common in the US, they were viewed more as optional extras here over tape. I grew up around lots of CDs too, but all the albums my dad had bought prior to the 80s were on vinyl so he just kept listening to them. So the idea you wouldn’t know what to do with a record is fascinating to me

lol. yes I'm older (or just old) hahaha I'm 41. First time I saw a vinyl on a record player was in my 20's. Before that I listened to cassette tapes, then cd's, then digital music (on a walkman).
