I initially wasnt going to watch Sunshine after finishing SIP, because for some reason I thought that it was aimed at primarily younger audiences or something like that. Like I thought Sunshine was a Barney tier show at first, and since anime isnt even my thing, much less these type of weird ones (at least for me), I had written it off. But you know what? I had come to love SIP so much that I gave Sunshine a chance, and I was entirely wrong about it. Sunshine is just like SIP in tone, I loved it, and it is truly Love Live. So while I like U's better, Aquors is still up there with me. And thus, my initial viewing of the series came to a close. So while I was late to the party, at least im in time for the Love Live Sunshine movie. But, what the hell, while im waiting for the movie, im going to buy the blurays of both SIP and Sunshine, and im going to watch them again. This time in the dub.
idk, both made me cry. tho for obvious different reasons. llsip made me cry bc i don't want to end yet, like i want to punch someone bc ending it would be so unfair. llss made me cry bc of sth, like it made me want to look forward and even have hope for the future. and idk if it's bad to me or not as a person who have mental illnesses.
@@marukoamv2424 In my opinion, Sunshine made me a bit more sad then the original, because there were a lot of episodes about each character struggling about something. (Eg You thinking Chika cares more about Riko which is true, Ruby crying because they only had 1 vote in something) and I cried in all of them. Now I'm more sadder about Muse (I guess because its officially ended)
I feel like Sunshine is more about psychological conflicts and more overly dramatic than the prequel. But I found the writing in SIP to be better in my opinion. In SIP I could actually SEE the development growth of Muse rather than just suddenly resolving everything by motivational speeches. But I still really like both. It's a fun franchise :D
To be honest, between both groups, Aqours made me cry the most times. Still hoped that they would continue the series. At least the discography of Aqours remained active
I love how you can tell who Mari and Hanamaru are at 1:13 because of their socks sorta like in donna toki mo where you can tell who nico is because of her pink sleeves.
