It’s weird seeing how decently accurate this preview is to what happens in the actual movie compared to how much was retconned or changed in the development of 3.0, so much so the original preview for it doesn’t have a single scene that actually happens in the movie itself.
When Shinji is killing Zeruel here, hes making that pained, psychotic expression he had in NGE. In the actual film the expression is different. More pissed off and determined rather than unhinged and scared out of his fucking mind.

I like the unit 03 walk cycle in this more than the one in the movie, not a big fan of the whole “arms swaying from side to side” thing that they had going on

0:19 Oh man, now I'm sad that Shinji's crazy smile face from ep.19 actually got remade in Rebuild, but still got cut out in the end :(
And pretty all the other scenes showing the characters, like the Misato and Ritsuko slap or 0:18. They look ripped right out the OG anime
