Estoy muy contenta de haber hecho la formación con Arhanta Yoga,y las explicaciones de Ram son particularmente buenas. Poco a poco ,me introduzco en sus enseñanzas,y me siento identificada, incluso antes de escucharle.
Great subject - I'm very much enjoying hearing your thoughts - one thought of mine: you say that Asana is innevitably "look at me look at me" however Asana, if well taught and well practised can be a powerful tool for really getting to know our selves - unwinding our stories about our selves via our physical form but also through self-observation during our practice all of the layers of our self. Though the diligent practice of asana, all of the paths of which you speak can be unfolded. 🙏
Thank you for sharing your thoughts!❤️ What you mention is what Hatha Yoga proposes: starting the path of Yoga from asana. According to Raja Yoga, the prior development of yamas and niyamas makes the asana practice a spiritual practice. What was meant in the webinar is that if we practice asana without integrating the spiritual aspects and principles of yoga, there is a risk that the ego will be strengthened rather than diminished.
@@Arhanta_Yoga I agree - so it's worth being careful and precise with how we describe these things and so not accept the "colonisation" of yoga, and in particular asana, by accepting that model of what it is. Perhaps adding the prefix "modern" or "western" (or perhaps you have a better suggestion) to describe ego driven practices would help. Being in the west I am very much besieged by this problem and how real yoga (and those teaching it) is alienated and dismissed. So I hope that I can depend upon you to help in this task, for the benefit of all beings :)
Ram Sir, Happy to hear your lecture 🙏🙏🙏
