Lost Ark - New EO Soulfist Hard Prokel (Illusion Build)

The rotation at first felt really weird, but the more I played it, the more it grew on me. This feels a bit better than the previous build we used in the past with EB, only it is much more punishing. I feel a big dmg spike from it as well as long as I play well, and in a sense predict what the boss is about to do.
I have a long way to go still in learning this rotation and new build set up, but for now I'll just share my thoughts and show some gameplay. The skills look and feel sick. I think I will try to solo Sonavel soon, I just want to get used to the rotation a bit more.

Do you pref tempest blast or illusion strike? And why rage rune? Rage rune is exceeding limit? I mean its okay in prokel because no yearning set but other raids?

I like illusion more personally, might just be bc its new. I also like rage on ER bc without yearning it caps me, and it sometimes feels like my atk speed goes over the cap when I proc it with yearning. Not sure what else to put on ER except quick recharge for other raids, which is probably bis thinking about it, but I do like a little bit extra atk speed every now and then

Merciless Pummel and Shadowbreaker; based on reliability in raid and full potential. Merciless IMO you should prioritize more for more good raid dmg/greed potential, but the community guide says you should go shadowbreaker because it has the highest dmg when you are not interrupted. I'd prio shadowbreaker second, but its optional honestly in the end.

You don't really need c&j, the swiftness and cd from hype 2 & 3 are enough for ok dominion uptime, however c&j does guarantee 100% uptime with dominion and if it procs in your hype 3 window, depending on your gems, you can fit a 4th merciless pummel into the window.
tldr: do you need it? no. Is it recommended? yes.

If you mean kbw3 eo1, It has not, in fact it is still bis in all 5x3+1 builds. The only other build you can make with a 5x3+1 build is make eo3 over kbw, and +1 is ether predator. With any addition of a crit syn, your damage skyrockets with keen more than without. It isnt a great engraving for us in general, but it is also the best one we got in comparison to using cursed doll or any other dmg engraving.

@@ap9929 I mean, 1. quick recharge does not affect your ult, so 100% uptime for dominion is impossible, as you have about 5-10 seconds of downtime without it.
2. Why int your dmg for 5-10 seconds for what, more gale wind runes or overwhelm runes? We are already near max atk speed, there is no need for galewind runes on certain skills. We take galewind on skills like Merciless Pummel and EB because they are our most priority skills, without galewind on them they feel like they take an eternity, skills like shadowbreaker and Celestial Palm (yes I am aware it was buffed) do not need galewind as a priority because their atk animations are extremely fast already.
3. c&j also guarantees 4 merciless pummels in a hype 3 window with good enough gems as well. Can quick recharge do this? I would imagine. Is it also possible to not get a single quick recharge proc in to allow it to work? Absolutely. Can I not proc c&j potentially? Absolutely. Both builds have flaws, there is nothing wrong between either, its just a preference on how you want to utilize the free cd reduction offered in runes.
4. kbw is STILL bis friend. I am not sure where you are reading this info. Please inform me on what other builds there are for eo sf 5x3+1s. In trixion I can imagine without kbw it does more. In raid though with a single crit syn? You want keen blunt. We dont even have elixers yet. They literally can give us free crit, making keen that much more better. We are a class that averages 25-35% crit on our own, and we STILL do very good dmg with keen blunt. Most classes that perform well with keen must have above 70-80% crit , and yet a soulfist with keen and with about 30% crit rate can keep up?
tldr; soulfist with keen is going to scale higher than any other 5x3+1 build with any additional crit, and with elixers, keen is higher potential overall and is incredibly good to future proof for new contents coming.
c&j and quick recharge are beneficial in their own ways, just a preference if you want quick burst cd reductions, or 6 seconds of pure cooldown reduction and have 100% dom uptime.

@@Aqueousmarine 1. Is not true, especially if you have charge on your bracelet seeing as you can hit over 1900 swiftness with your space bar. We also have plenty of dominion fang calculators to show that 1800+ swiftness bring the cdr of dominion to lower than 3 seconds.
2. Shadowbreaker legendary galewind is quite literally recommended to hit new breakpoints at high swift. CP runs quick recharge, so not sure what you mean here. EB is not used on EO, so once again, not sure why that's relevant still. You definitely use galewinds on IS seeing as it's the slowest animation skill in the rotation, and you can't spacebar through it.
3. Merciless pummel contributes the 2nd most to DPS in any of the new rotations, behind shadowbreaker so I'm not sure why fitting in more of the 2nd best skill in your rotations is a positive.
4. Not sure why we need to debate math. EP1 is superior currently even at 50% efficiency even with 1 10% crit synergy. Again, plenty of calculators on the discord for this. Elixirs + crit synergy only ends up slightly better and only with both.
