Driving a motorhome over the Healy Pass on the Beara Peninsular in Ireland

- We drive our 21 year old Hymer B544 over the picturesque Healy Pass which cuts across the Beara Peninsula in Ireland. The weather was sunny, so we changed our plans and headed over there, we filmed this while driving from the south (Bantry side) to the north. As we crossed the summit we went from County Cork into County Kerry. Apologies for the dirty windscreen, we weren't planning on doing the drive, but the weather was soooo good.

Brilliant piece of film. A few years ago I walked up the Healey pass from Adrigole down to Laragh and then back up the valley to the youth hostel down by the lake. Such memories.

We're often too busy enjoying ourselves to think about recording stuff, but we try to when we remember :)
We did the Beara peninsula 3 weeks ago. The weather was terrible so we gave the pass a miss and drove around terrible outside instead. Its a fabulous and stunning area. Safe travels and maybe our paths will cross on the road, currently just outside Sligo enjoying the WAW.
We have been blessed with the weather this past week. We did the outside of the peninsula too, but the pass was the best part.
Guys, you were the 1st full timers that I started to follow. I just don’t understand why you don’t do more vlogs on UA-cam. You’d have a massive following in a year or two.✊❤️
It's simple, they take ages to do and somewhat spoil your enjoyment of whatever it is you are doing. We follow some excellent vloggers on youtube who make it look so simple, but when you look at each shot and work out how they set it up - well we just don't have the patience. You should hear the cursing in the van just writing about our adventures :)

We've still been blogging from time to time on at ourtour.co.uk, but personal reasons have restricted travel this past year or so. Also we're finding we prefer to write about our travels rather than film them, unless it's something epic like this that needs limited editing (otherwise they take hours!)
