Ammo cans (50 cal) with good, intact rubber gaskets. Available at any surplus store and most gun stores. All in one place that also has many items that make loud noise.
Different places. Some below ground, some above. Some hidden in plain sight, some extremely difficult to retrieve. Some lesser valuables barely hidden as an easy decoy (clad, etc). Great topic.
Hey Southeast definitely different locations secured in fireproof safes with plenty of brass and lead to protect first they have to get through my two pit bulls then me😮
I have a very small stack and i keep it in a safe thats in a safe place in a undisclosed location 24 hour surveillance with 2 different camera systems. Thats about to change to multiple locations.
Definitely store in multiple places. No less than 4 right now and I don't even have that much. But I kept everything together till I got over 300 ounces.
I definitely have four strongholds for storing my stack. I never keep anything in one place bad idea or something goes wrong and you can't get to it you need to have a backup plan
So... if your domicile ignites (catches fire, for all you UNC graduates), running to 4 different places in a burning building is a better idea that making it to one spot and exiting via nearest door and or window (advantage to full ammo cans, they defenestrate window glass with remarkable alacrity). Obviously, to each their own, YMMV.
@@titanuranus I definitely don't keep all of my strongholds in my house either I have a stronghold in my house safe room. Where is the safe for all stored at but in my house is not where I keep my biggest stash
I keep my stack at 3 different locations. My company is part of the critical infrastructure of my country and therefore 100% secure. I store part of my gold in my office. 🤐

If I can it fit all in one box I hide it in one box. That box goes into another box that's hidden in the bottom of a third box that can't be moved

One location. I only have 100 or so ounces of silver. Not enough to split up in my opinion.
How about having a stash that has very little in it, and the other in a more secure place on site
So, I keep mine in one location, but I'm looking at keeping it somewhere else.
