Why don't you use a vernier caliper to find the diameter of tbe bob and from there you can find the distance from the middle of the bob by dividing the diameter by 2

Personally I think that will be a waste of time since the values your going to plot on the graph would be approximated. I guess.

I learnt we start counting it from 0
