The tall colorful drum is called a djembe. It sounds like "Jim Bay " It's an African drum, and there is a specific way it's supposed to be played. When played correctly, it sounds awesome. My husband used to have many of them, including larger ones. The large ones can be tuned to make certain sounds. My husband was a musician and a music teacher at a school, where he taught an African drum class and showed the kids how to play those djembes. There are videos on UA-cam you can look up on djembe drumming it's so cool. My husband would love to be there with y’all having a drum jamming session lol that would be so awesome. Hope y’all enjoyed your day. I miss those days with my family. My oldest son and his wife moved 15 hours away it is heartbreaking for me . Enjoy those kids while you can. ❤

Our trees here in SE Ohio aren't very colorful at all bc of extreme drought! They're just dead and crumbley! So bummed bc summer and fall are my favorite seasons! Love watching your family picnics! Such a great summer/fall tradition made for memories of generations! ❤
