    When he said he hoped in the future he would come to Europe as an entertainer .. my heart kinda broke. He never got to see the world but thankfully the world is still getting to see him 🤍 forever thankful for elvis .

    Such an intelligent man Elvis was, 24 going on 54 here. Such a shame his dreams of performing around the world never came to fruition. A big lost opportunity in music history. He will never be forgotten though and his legacy will live on forever and his music is immortal. The Undisputed King of Rock and Roll always and forever.

    Sadly he never get to bo back to Germany as an entertainer or anywhere else in the world for that matter all thanks to his crooked Manager Tom Parker who locked up Elvis in The states bc Parker himself was an illegal immigrant and was to scared to travel international. The only place Elvis were in internationally was the International Hotel in Vegas.
    It was a travesty for the world for they never got to see Elvis live. Words around had that Elvis was dying for a world tour.

    How sad he never got to tour internationally, it was because they say Col Parker did not have a passport and could not go out of the US.

    Listen to this humbly, respectful guy makes me sad. Such a nice person. What exactly went wrong I never understood. I don't want to blame anyone anyway. Cause I know or at least think, that we all are responsible for our own lives. So he was. But then again I feel so much with that sensitive soul, makes me crying.

      Elvis had many inherited genetic problems. People are pretty clueless about this. Elvis suffered in 9 of the 11 bodily systems that each of us had and 5 were present from birth.
      Even without his fame and fortune it is unlikely he would have lived beyond his mid 40s. He was a carrier of Alpha 1, just like his mother. Elvis grandparents were first cousins. That is where the genetic problems came from. He was immuno compromised. Elvis mother and 3 of her siblings all died in their 40s / 50s. All from liver and heart issues. For Elvis this was was unavoidable.
      Elvis suffered from glaucoma, liver issues, heart issues, hypertension, insomnia, diabetes, arthritis, back pain, chronic constipation, tonsillitis, exhaustion and on and on. That would be enough to carry anyone off early. I would like to see anyone survive all that by refusing medication. He took prescription medication drugs to help him function in life NOT not to get high. That is a massive difference to many other entertainers. Elvis performed in one show every 2.5 days in the last 7 years of his life. He should not have been on stage at the end but in a hospital bed. His manager was a disgusting individual who cared nothing for his one and only star and instead drained the poor man dry right up to the end. For all that he gave us his all. A beautiful person with a charisma, voice and looks that has never been equalled.

  • @AlphasAnthelion
    @AlphasAnthelion 2 роки тому +18

    Such a nice guy, so polite, so rational yet sensitive, so intelligent. This side of him is hardly ever covered. Also how he engineered his career and his music is seldom reflected by the media. Just as an example if you think what Elvis made of himself after 1967. He had tremendously progressed already in 1968, but then went even further in 1969 with this Nashville records and his early live performances in Las Vegas. And then he created yet again a new Elvis, which would stand in front of big orchestra and redefine live music by touring the greatest halls of america. That is just amazing. Like many other commentators I never really understood what had started somewhere in 1971, but as it seems, he just became gradually a victim of the prescribed drugs. I think they were all naive to that and did not think of side- or longterm effects or they thought they had it under control. Sadly there was nobody strong enough to stop Elvis from destroying himself in 1976 and after.

    Going to Germany was the BEST thing for Elvis to do after his mothers death. The timing was perfect. It would've been harder for Elvis to do all the music and touring right after her death. It wouldn't have felt right....and, knowing Elvis, a living legend of his unprecedented level couldn't just take a leave of absence to grieve. He would've gone right back into touring and it would've been bad for him. Serving his country made him proud, despite the massive loss he recently suffered at the time.
