I'm an alto man from way back, Berklee grad, and I can really appreciate the player you are! You have such a commanding tone in all registers, including above the range. And not many alto players can get that beautiful sub-tone all the way down to Bb. I can also appreciate your technical skill in all those ascending keys. You are a lesson for the rest of us in how to grab the tune by the scruff of the neck, take control, and make the tune do what you want it to do. As opposed to just trying to "play the changes". Perhaps I can approach your level with say.....25 more years of practice. Bravo!

adoro questo brano, ma adoro molto di piu' la tua versione ed improvvisazione, con i cambi di tonalità che fanno mancare il fiato e ti innalzano l'umore di brutto. Il suono splendido di un sax che miscela sonorità nuove con quelle del passato. Le frasi sviluppate ritmicamente e melodicamente con l'energia e i contenuti di una jazz woman favolosa che ha una personalità formata per stendere il pubblico. F. dimostra come si usano in modo affascinante e travolgente gli idioni del blues, del jazz, funky music, fusion styles, standard della canzone internazionale, per ogni genere musicale. Anzi insegna che la musica non va suddivisa in generi, ma va unita, come vanno unite le civiltà e le etnie. Il pezzo è talmente dolce, bollente, romantico, dolce, esplosivo, ballabile, che sinceramente è degno di una principessa giovane eccellente del sax anni 2020 come Felicity.

i bougth the verdot 8, powerfull and the sound is realy amazing with my ref54 and my MARKVI. More diffficult on lower notes. I need to practice it..
