    It's exciting that there are more creative budget electronic instruments coming to market. I remember seeing a preview of this and thinking it looked cool when I didn't know it was Donner. I have their 303 homage and it's pretty good.
    I'm really curious what the synth engine is in this

    I have the original ORBA. It was fun for a while but it was dragged down by to many small anoyances. The second version added sampler but you needed to have a phone to record the sound. This, despite taking a clear inspiration from Artiphon, adds bunch of cool stuff on tom which really makes it superior choice. I have already KO1 and Smpltrek to justify this, but glad the music doo daads are still poping up here and there. Thanks for the overview.

      It is a fun little device. Having lots of fun as a midi controller with my iPad. It does seem that donner did some research and tried to improve on some of the previous little similar devices.
