The analyzes and explanation after placing the mask on in bipap is very poor. The patient leak needs to be addressed and is high enough to provide wildly inaccurate tidal volumes. The IPAP set at 10 fails to consistently reach 6 or 7. Secondly, a leak this extensive eventually is interpreted as a patient disconnect from the V60.

She did great with that mask on, on the BiLEVEL!! You know, people talk about how bad it is, sometimes, and how they feel paniced, but you know, before my trach, I spent WEEKS on that V60 machine, in the ICU, not able to get off for more than a minute, and the leak was a pain, and so was the continuous soars on my face, but you know, it's not really that bad, so long as you have a heater wire Humidifier, cause otherwise, you're gonna breathe dried oxygen/air.
    The BiP
AP Vision, was a HORRIBLE machine. It autocycled, no matter how controlled the leak was. It was a HORRIBLE machine.
