Jason explained after their trip to Mountauk that he did not understand the concept of sex and love being connected. After they made love, he made that connection. He said he would not sleep with Carly any more and he didn’t. People forget that Jason at this time was still relearning the rules of society and life.
They made Keisha completely clueless. Surely by this time she knew Jasen had lost his memory. Why would she think he would remember what Ward House was. He would do well to remember what her last name was, much less make the connection.
It’s not stupidity, she was desperate for comfort, and she was hoping for a miracle. That if she told him about her situation, he would be sympathetic and it would feel like her Jason.
I agree Jason was definitely a jerk to Keesha, but as a girlfriend she really kind of sucked when it came to post-head trauma Jason. Every single scene they had together was about how his changes effected HER and she never showed the slightest interest in who he'd become. Understandably, sure, but it's not fair to blame it all on the brain damaged guy. :)
Bad Writing! The Writers obviously didn't want the *Keesha* and Jason relationship to LAST... I wonder why? 🤔 but, Robin does everything whi... I mean, right! 🙄
luckyjasonfan I agree they did not want them as a couple, but I don’t think it is because of race. Robin, while sweet and nice, has experience. She grew up in a violent world. She has had a mob guy as her boyfriend. She has watched him die of aids. She has HIV herself. She is close friends with Sonny. You can see Robin living in Jason’s world. Keisha is a nice girl. But she is weak and unsure of herself. . But her moral code is just too strong to be a part of his world. She would never be able to accept Jason’s life choices. She would always be trying to change him. That fits her character. Living as a mobster’s girlfriend doesn’t. And these are not recent developments in their characters to make them compatible with the storyline. It is the way they have been portrayed for years. But the main reason is that they are making Jason lose everyone who mattered to him before the accident. Even with Lila and Emily, he only tolerates at first, although he comes to care about them eventually. How could they explain having him care about Keshia?
