Multi Wrap Beaded Lariat Necklace Tutorial

I made this lariat using October's 2018 Dollar Bead Box but you can also make a lariat with beads from your stash.
Materials needed:
beading stringing wire
crimps
10mm czech glass opaque bell flowers beads
12mm swarovski margaritas beads
10mm czech glass tabular squares beads
3x6mm czech glass rondelle orange opal beads
7x10mm vintage german twisted oval yellow travertine beads
6x8mm czech glass ladybug beads
6mm czech glass corrugated rondelle beads
4mm czech fire polished beads butterscotch
4mm czech fire polished beads turquoise vega
11/0 seed beads

I have a tip for you and for everyone who sometimes loose there beads on the floor. Just put a nylon stocking onto your vacuum cleaner with a elestic, then the beads end up in this stocking and you can finish your project! I hope this is a helpful comment..... Also your ring on your left hand is beautiful too as this Lariat is. Bye.

I agree with running the tail through beads after the crimp not just to prevent lost beads but also I think you get a cleaner more professional finish. Thank you for providing us with such great tutorials! 🤗

Beautiful pc. I know where I made my jewelry I would run my tail back thru several beads. Not as long as yrs thou. Yes it makes a big difference too if u have to fix an end for sum reason. I was self taught on making jewelry. Luv ur advice and ur work.

Very pretty necklace/wrap bracelet. I may not have the exact same beads as you, but I see how I could substitute other beads in shape and size to match the 5 foot length. I am also 5' 6" tall, how cool is that, well at least interesting to me anyhow. But yes, very pretty indeed. I still haven't checked my mail box yet but I'm sure everything is there that should be. Only problem we have ever had was when companies tried to mail to our street address and not to our box at the Post office. Thank you for everything you do. Take care and God bless.

Hi Aleshia, your lariat is pretty. Will you be making more? Tfs. I have a question about the different sizes of seed beads. How can you tell the size they are? I have seed beads that I purchased in the 80's and 90's and don't have the original package they came in.

Seed beads are sized according to how many fit in an inch. For example, if 6 beads=1 inch then they are 6/0 seed beads.
