I imagine your new style is very different to what is the norm in Switzerland. You have clearly been inspired by Copenhagen. I believe Swiss style is more conservative. Have you had any funny looks or comments when walking around? I love it but don't think I would be brave enough to make such a drastic change
It is! You are right! I definitely have had people looking at me but I never felt it was in a negative way - I think if you are confident in yourself and what you wear it will always send a good energy out to the world. If it's something you'd like to do more, I'd say just go for it- at the end of the day, who is going to remember it tomorrow or in a week. No matter what you do, there'll always be people who judge and criticize but this is such a minority and I doubt many will have the courage to come and vocalise this to you. I've had so many people actually stop me in the street and kindly ask where a certain piece is from or many admirative stares from grandmas hahah. Who knows, maybe you'll even inspire the people who see you to be more themselves by wearing things they love just for them too!

hahahhaha exactly - in my defense though, the grandma's generation wore really beautiful tailored clothes with high quality fabrics and i get many smiles and kind stares from grandmas in the streets with these outfits.

Most of these pieces haven’t been featured in your previous videos from lasts months/years so I assume these are new additions (not much of an assumption since in your lasts videos you’ve been receiving quite a lot of parcels). How’s all this sustainable? For someone who is all about sustainability (or so you say), it doesn’t seem quite appropriate to change your entire wardrobe just because you feel like “adding a bit more colour”. This might sound harsh but, since you make a living out of your lifestyle, and you try to portray a sustainable one, it rather feels like a scam and cheating your subscribers. I say it because it is becoming quite common among some youtubers and it’s both deceiving and disappointing.

Thank you for your comment! It's indeed something I feel conflicted about and also why I don't promote "sustainable" label anymore. Sustainable can mean a lot of different things to different people leading to misunderstanding as this term has been used for both great and not so great reasons over the last years. This is why I have taken a step away from identifying as a "sustainable" content creator. It is common sense and we all know by now that reducing our impact involves reducing our consumption, before we even talk about "sustainable fabrics" and what not. My approach to it now is to focus on quality pieces that will last years with me and potentially second, third owners after. It's also to buy second hand/vintage when possible and to encourage people take similar steps. As content creator, working with small ethical labels is not viable in my experience as most of them don't have or/and allocate budget for working with influencers which is not very ethical in my opinion too. I have seen countless small label start and close down just because this industry is so hard to make margins in while also producing ethically. It's really sad but it is also a part of the reality of this industry which the regular customer may not notice or be aware of. I hope this comes out as respectfully as it is intended. :)

It’s just that I have been a follower of yours for a few years now and I have felt a bit detached lately because I don’t feel you have the same purpose towards certain topics anymore (which is fine. Hiya, don't take this wrong I watched the whole video > You have a beautiful body but thank you for not being all undressed like in your videos 3 years ago. I personally don't like watching women in the bare online exposing themselves. Feels both respectful to us and to yourself :). Liking your experimenting with different colors and style. Like the modest aspect, it's kinda like a cross between Amish and grandma, style? But eh we can change it up anytime). The youtube algorithm is now showing me older women street style, lol.
