installed this wing today on my 2024, don't regret doing it myself. can't go wrong with the template and I bet I did it better than anybody at a dealer.👏👍
Absolutely true , what im tryna express is how low profile it is i love seeing peoples face when i go to the park and let my dog out of the hatchback. Almost weekly someone ask/says thats a hatchback!? If you know you know but you cant tell .
Please be careful my friend 🙏 I've installed my first spoiler myself and the HPD requires proper measurements and certain tools . With that being said have fun and go crazy once you scratch that first itch it never gos away .
I have the same color same trim and I want to do black windows replace the silver Honda emblem and the civic with black add this spoiler. Go with the 18 in wheels with black rims. Tint my headlights.
Sounds like a good build 👌 specially the 18 in wheels ill be getting mine this summer. I'm gonna try to get something 🤔 unique hopefully my plans are possible
My spoiler is about $400-$500 especially because to match the paint I have the boost blue. Getting the spoiler for another site for $150 in black and already did a chrome delete myself for about $20. For the wheels I got the $500 wheels in the black alloy. Now I just need to install my wing and tint the windows
Sounds like you already have quite the build . I was thinking about alloys tires as well 🤔 but decided to go with paint match rims instead . Ebay has the spoiler for dirt cheap as well but boost blue is a rear color .
@@abscivicduty yeah I had to call 5 dealerships just to find a civic and landed on the boost blue. Very lucky. So far the only mod is the chrome delete but in about a month I should have the same spoiler and some tint on the windows and lights. I also love your first build and hope this new one continues to go well. The white is definitely sharp. My second color choice if I didn’t find the blue. Didn’t even know it existed haha
@blakeangel8355 Thanks , my 10th gen was my first love for modded civics . Not knowing much i dumped 3,500$ - 4,000$ into the civic .... but unfortunately i had to get rid of it. It's a sad story. I've been dragging my feet to do a video on. My new civic I'm going to go all out on but at a slower and more precised way . I wonna keep the look clean but also be unique and that's gonna be a challenge. I hope 🙏 you enjoy all the content made and to come .
@@abscivicduty definitely do enjoy it, after my tint and spoiler I’m going to get a front lip and then swap out my rear bumper for the type R bumper/diffuser so then I can add a new custom exhaust. Don’t think I’ll do many performance mods as the car is already so nice and don’t wanna mess it up. Going to stick to cosmetics for this car and then buy a cheap separate project car
@blakeangel8355 buddy! , we think alike. eventually, i will do performance mods , but for now i dont want to void my warranty. Which covers any issues, for 2 years free of cost . I keep calling the dealership to make sure all mod im considering won't void my warranty. I love your type R plans TB100%H im only plotting on the Type R hood. At the moment having a hatch makes it compatible, but it will be a long time before i find a scapped type R hood .
I just got the sport touring trim in sonic grey pearl, but without spoiler. Loving it so far. This type of spoiler looks a bit off tbh, doesn't suit the car very well. I think a decklid spoiler like the one on the Civic SI or the elantra N-line would've looked much better on his one.
@@masonphillips6635 Tbh it should come with the car . I LOVE HONDAS , but I HATE THE NICKEL & DIMING THEY DO ! I've seen people get ripped off paying close to 40k for a touring for 2 or 3 add on. leather seats , HPD spoiler and front splitters . Ima take a blank canvas and make it my own kinda guy .
It dont , but i think it should . It changed the look for the better in my opinion. But some people dont like spoilers and or maybe just prefer a different one . I understand why its a add on.
@alexjamerson5796 that depends on what you prefer. Sedan side profile is slimmer then a hatch . Id go with a low profile spoiler over the hpd . If i had a sedan . I would try to complement its slim appearance . Thts just me , i dont think the hpd spoiler looks bad on a sedan. If you have a sedan do what appeals to you .
Partially , the car has sensors all around it and will alert u of any car near you rather you can see them or not , but the spoiler does block part of the lower rear window
Thanks for the comment . In my opinion lowered honda look terrible ! And is the greatest sin for a honda. The 11th gens are low enough. Appear low but never actually lower it ... everysingle person who lower them got a sob story on how they ruined a lip , sideskirt or worried about rubbing . My personal favorite are the ones tht lower them then get tires far to big 😒 i will never do such a thing to a beautiful car . Theres a lowered honda for every gen and i have yet to see the benefits of lowering them . They dont look good and they dont drive any better.
@@abscivicduty any car that gets lower looks better. it does get bumpy but its worth it , thats why you buy coilovers with adjustable dampening. Car turns good with less body roll and is more gas efficient with an aggressive look💪listen to me ge dem coilovers my dude and have the right height you want. I have this civic
@@RANDOM-zc2bs I agree with you the spoiler don't look good. The type R spoiler look dope but this spoiler look off. Lowering this car with the type R spoiler is would look dope.
@@RANDOM-zc2bs lowering this car is going to have you scraping more than it already is with how low it is and not every car looks good lowered. Lowered Hondas are too ricey and looks bad when it’s overdone.

Thats insane 😳 but doesn't surprise me it cost me 550 .... they said they only charging 150 for labor and the spoiler cost 400 but anyone who does their research knows the spoiler only cost 150-200 depending on where you get it from 🤔 so they actually charged me 400 for labor cause the spoiler itself cost 150 . I knew they where lying but its a brand new car I am still hesitant and very carefully moding.

It looks great. I agree there’s no way in hell earth I would put that on myself with all the steps you have to take, you’re 100% correct..lol
I want the Type R spoiler, looks way better but nothing available yet?
If you know the differences between a sedan and the hatchback, then you could easily tell which is which.

Thank you
Does the wing impede your view allot?
I ordered the original found on the European hybrid model. Should be here in a week. But I need to find a place to install.

Where did you get the wing 😍
Where you get the spoiler for a different color?
The black H emblems front and back! Got mine done! but the front of yours would look good blacked out. Tints complete it too. Nice car!
Thanks for watching and commenting. That is one of my many plans for this car, hopefully my wallet will agree 😂
Where did you find the blackout to cover the Honda logo?
Would you be able to post what it would look like on the inside looking out the back window?
Absolutely
