Excellent walkaround, well explained. On the yellow strip on the left side of the cockpit, it says "check bobbins before flight". Can anyone explain that procedure?
I believe this hurricane was possibly owned by my grandfather after WW11, and sold to Jack Arnold. My Grandfather unfortunately scrapped 80 hurricanes after the war.
Not sure who the full list of owners were but maybe! Shame that so many were scrapped but an obsolete aircraft after a bitter war... People had living on their minds.
