The fact that this song achieved 75% of the view count that took the og 2 years to get within 2 months proves that following the algorithm is not the only option.
I wish more people would listen to DAGames more as a musician and someone who is amazing at making music, rather than just a UA-camr who also makes music. Seeing and hearing it revamped and rebuilt in such a powerful way is literally the coolest thing ever, and the message behind it.. The giant middle finger to the toxicity and cruelty on the internet, and how this also works for toxic people in your life(and at least how I read it, self loathing/hateful thoughts), and going on to continue to do what you like despite that toxicity, is incredibly powerful. I'm gonna be honest: Green was not my favorite in the original Flashdrive album; That honor goes to Yellow. Green was above Black and Purple in my tier list, as it just didn't reach the heights of Red, Yellow, Blue, or White. But THIS remake has turned it into one of my Favorite Flashdrive: SSD songs. Massive Kudos to taking the good aspects of Green and turning it up to 11.
I love green. It's my favorite from the album, and the new lyrics, as well as instrumentals add so much to it. I've been going through a lot recently, and because of it, I've barely been able to listen to IRIS, or your music in general because it reminds me of happier times, and makes me desperate to have that back... Like when I slow danced and sung Purple, and White with my girlfriend... I hope I can enjoy this one without that struggle, unlike Gold, or Blue SSD. Amazing work as always will.
