Looking for a new cordless strimmer? This is a fantastic bit of kit that complements the rest of the BOSH home and garden range.
I have not been asked to review this product but bought it and thought I would share my views.

OK pay attention folks. I bought this exact model today, the 2.5ah 18v battery has a run time of wait for it, 10 minutes. The charge time is 30minutes. The spool is set to continuously keep feeding, there is a blade attached to the guard so your wire will continuously keep getting shorter and hence you'll need to buy more often, however, if you remove the guard although the spool is set to keep letting out wire, there is no blade on the guard to keep cutting it so every so often you will need to open the spool lid and wind it back in, no big deal. She is right that this has some power but the 10 (not 20) minute battery run time is a deal breaker. You have been warned.
I have been using mine at 20 mins on quite long grass. Could you possibly have a faulty battery? That is not holding its charge? Just a thought. I do agree with the spool issue. I have had several situations where I've needed to reel it back again.

@@bigtorrisi worth contacting them. Hope you can get it sorted. I have 2 batteries from other Bosh tools and both charged up mean I get enough power for my arms to get tired before the tool runs dry. 🤣

Lol ours are really designed for trimming lawns but do get through most weeds too!

Strimmer is a funny word to us. We call them weed eaters or weed whackers. Good job on the review. Mine uses fluorescent pink string so it’s easy to find the little pieces. I should buy some battery yard equipment as I have gas and electric ones that are a pain. 💕👍😊
Lol. I think we call them strimmer because they are designed to just strim the grass edges. But they can be pretty good on some weeds too!
Actually just a trimmer.... dont know where they get strimmer from....
Apparently the word "strimmer" is a trade name for a particular make of string trimmer, but it is often used as a generic for any string trimmer.

I always used to let my lawn grow too long and was often having to unwind long, long grass from my strimmer.
I didn't have a strimmer years ago so sat cutting the edge with scissors 🤣🤦♀️
Very noice me lady! My next package of yard care bits just might be Bosch! Thanks for the look. The one I have now, I can see the bits of line and just pick them up. Maybe there is some sort of way you can charge the battries off a inverter in a vehicle? If the camp is far from the house and you drive?
I'm sure you could! You can do laptops and stuff on inverters. Thankfully the site is in the village so easy enough to go home and charge them. I just say that when its run out, I've clearly done enough work 😂🤣
