you guys should try the Moog low pass filter pedal. if you don't use the envelope you can set the pedal as a serious sub kick. i use it live and it ALWAYS rattles the room.
The Electro Harmonix Octave Multiplexer has a pretty awesome SUB as well, it's been known to blow speakers. Pedals And Effects should put it in the next episode of Sub Wars... I think this pedal is totally worthy
Dear Juan, great vid as always man!!....Hey, the EHX The Mole bass booster can be considered as a sub? Don´t know if you have tried it before, it´s way less synthy than the ones you showed here.... unless I´m totally wrong of what a sub it´s supposed to be (and probably I am :-)
I use my Meatbox at the front of my chain & kick it on alongside an overdrive during heavier passages. (My band is an instrumental math/post-rock 3-piece.)
+Ainsley Walker doesn't matter. Phaser is and both should come after the Meatbox for the best sound. The delay and phaser can be switched around depending on what he wants to get. A delayed phaser or a phased delay
I think you've misinterpreted my comment... I was not commenting on which order the pedals should be placed, I was simply correcting his comment which implied delay is modulation. I know that octave based effects are best before modulation, I have 3 on my board. Not sure why you thought I was responding to you anyway, nothing about my comment was relevant to what you said.
3:18 Hulk
4:18 Great Divide
6:00 Ashdown
6:57 meatbox O.G.
And I don't do this 'cuz I don't want to hang out. I do this 'cuz I watch this religiously.
a tip: watch movies at kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Trenton Rafael Yup, I have been watching on KaldroStream for months myself :D
The mod setting on the Palmer Unterton produces an interesting sub. Worth checking out.
Surprised you guys didn't use the MarkBass SuperSynth pedal. It's got a great sub-octave feature.

I always use the meatbox for heavy slapping! It's like the difference between mono and stereo
DOD reissuing the Meatbox!?? Sweeeeeet... Really digging the new intro btw.

They all sound dope. Get the Mantic Beef Bag in on this!
DOD reissue the Meat Box?! Yes please!!!
You heard him say that too, right?!😁
When does the Meatbox reissue come out?
Juan, will you consider doing a video reviewing the new EarthQuaker Devices Terminal Fuzz please? Thank you always!
Wait wait wait,
Juan, earthquaker is gonna make a sub pedal?
Yeah, I'd like to hear more about this especially if it's going to come out any time near the reissue of the meatbox.

Peace and love from Bristol England
Pause at 0:32...5 wild cameramen have appeared XD
What about that Earthquaker devices sub pedal??
Is the meatbox a risk for my cabinet? or I can use it without any fear?
probably fine as long as you don't push it too hard
did earthquaker ever make a sub afterall???
Any more info on the Meat Box reissue you mentioned?
whats the ampeg box on top of the SVT?
SVT DI made by Ampeg
How would you use it? For short effects like up-/downrisers or during a whole song?
I use my Meatbox at the front of my chain & kick it on alongside an overdrive during heavier passages. (My band is an instrumental math/post-rock 3-piece.)
You two should start a band two basses
Fretless meatbox: humpty dance?
I'm a guitarist the has to play the role of guitar and bassist, A sub would be so cool.
yes, the meat box takes all the air out of the room
Hey Juan,
do you use the Meatbox before or after modulation-fx (like phaser/delay)?
rock on
You use it before. That way you can phase the octave down signal
thx
Delay is not modulation.
