This kit is a decade old, but somehow is still more articulate than some others being released soon. The accessories put the IBO line to shame, for what they include in the kit. Was never a big fan of how the Strike looked, but the Strike Noir looks gorgeous. Damn shame about those plastic joints though... still, might pick this up in the future.

He is genuine. What I like about is that he destroyed Kira & Freedom with sheer guts, tactics, focus & determination. No frills, no special powers. Just the raw power of a great Ace Pilot achieved thru the right mindset & hardwork with the help of his equally talented friend/superior Heine.. 🍻
This really needs a Revive, and while I am not going to be jumping for joy if they did it, I could see them doing a Strike E P-Bandai exclusive in order to get their money's worth out of the mold. Well worth it for the Strike Noir with better joint lifespan, some improved color separation, and presumably the shield compatability by removing the back of the arm, like the MG does
Im predicting more of a p-bandai RG Strike noir conversion kit like what they did with the gundam astrea and also include back the hg noir pack like they did with the p-bandai RG strike rouge with hg IWSP

I really need to get one of these to slap on the new 1/144 Windam kit. Can you imagine the noir wings with the Windam's lanky skinny looking body? It'd be so slick!
I absolutely love this Gundam and easily my favorite Gundam (double x is my equal). I'm surprised this high grade still holds up after building this beast, i do hope to see a modern version of this Gundam.
Happy to say that this was my first kit, said to say it turned into a mess... nubs everywhere, missing pieces, broken pieces, etc... I just think of it as battle damage.
As far as I know, these joints are made from ABS and therefore they're more durable than just polystyrene rubbing against itself. Not as long-lasting as a polycap, but still REALLY durable. I've had mine for around 2 years and I've *never* seen the usual plastic dust and scrapes on mine's joints. Barely a few scratches, but nothing major.
And the final question is... Should we get this Noir, or wait for the inevitable HGCE Revive Noir (at least for the ones of us without enough shelf space for displayed the MG Noir properly)
One rule about the IWSP to mention is that there was a version of the IWSP released through a combined Real Grade + HG SEED P-Bandai Strike Rouge. The requirement of a brace for the Strike Noir to wield it coming from a Gunbarrel Dagger/Slaughter Dagger is still a requirement, however.
I always paint my joints to tighten them up. I find that joints almost always need tightening. I’ll use a metallic color for the exposed area so it’ll look more mechanical. And that basically solves my loose joints problems while adding a little color.
Hopefully this gets a remaster like they're doing with some of the seed kits or an rg. Probably one of the coolest looking gundams but you can really see its age. I don't have any master grades but i was consideringing it for this because it looks so much better.
Yes. I always paint or clear coat the joints on my kits. It helps out very much. Just paint or topcoat and let dry then put it back together and you’ll have tighter joints. If it doesn’t work out for the first time then take it back apart and give it another coat. It’s all trials and errors and the more you do it the more you find the balances in perfecting your kits. Happy building.

Fun fact: Sven once was forced to eject his Noir Striker when it was battle damaged and took the IWSP from a Slaughter Dagger.

2 years later we're still waiting. Its the only thing putting me off buying the revive aile, and the old noir.
