Do you understand he’s apologizing because he left he’s group when everything was ready for the comeback? The album, photo, choreography, their tour … and this decision gave a hard time for the others.
And the people who started those fake rumors are the one who own him a BIG apology.

WooJin left for multiple reasons. 1. His own health.
2. To hopefully take the hate with him away from the group.
3. To reevaluate his life. He almost didn't continue singing and that would be the greatest crime committed by STAYs.
JYPE chose the release date for WooJin. They finally realized WooJin wasn't going to stay with JYPE. They chose enough time for the members to pick who would sing WooJin's parts and learn the revised choreography.
The fact that WooJin was in one of the videos shows he was willing to stay until after the comeback. JYPE didn't want WooJin to get more royalties than he already is getting.
The fact that so many of you don't realize 3 Idols died that year. That it's the company and the fans that are to blame for WooJin leaving to not become a 4th Idol to leave us that year.
STOP whining about professionals being asked to do their jobs and they did it very well within the deadline provided by JYPE!

I don’t listen to their old songs ot9, because if they had the trouble to re record every single song they had then why not help them with that by listening?

Well, when I was in college, I saw what he did as a total betrayal. But when I entered the workforce myself, the whole hatred is baffling, to the point of looking like a childish tantrum. Sure, I was annoyed when my coworker suddenly quit and left me with a load of works behind, with added pressures from my higher ups. But never once I wished them getting falsely accused of a serious criminal like SA. And I eventually moved on to focus on my own job, with them getting their new ones.
I wish fans, whether Kpop fans or other celebrities' fans, will realize that no matter how much you want to see your favorite groups as families, you should realize being an idol is A JOB. And you won't aways fit in to your work environment, thus the reason people will quit and change their workplace. No matter how supportive and kind my coworkers are, there are moments where I just wanna leave due to the workplace not fitting for me. And yes, it's highly possible that I will still enter the same industry because my expertise is on that field. I just change my location and direct environment.
Yes, the idol industry OVERCOMPLICATES it, but when peeled to the core, you'll see of how simple the problem actually is.

Well, there are people out there waiting for idols to commit crimes so that they can bring them down. That's how people are when they are jealous of something or someone. They can't see others succeed where they can't or haven't. It's very toxic in the fandoms because of this reason, well it's one of the reasons. There are many more.

The amount of hatred toward Woojin has NEVER made sense. He didn’t commit any crime, yet he was accused of all kinds of things, including abusing SKZ (it’s insane that people think Chan or JYPE would let that happen). Woojin just left the group. That’s it. If you are STAY, how can you perpetuate hatred toward someone when they were a SKZ? Just because they left to pursue a solo career? The death threats, hate messages and dislike he still gets on everything he posts is just cruel and wrong.

I still don't understand why he's still getting hate for this. It happened in the past and now it's over. He's doing his own thing and so are they. Being in kpop world since Gen 2, i am trully glad he made that decision. He put himself first and THATS OKAY. After what happen to Jonghyun and Sulli or Go Hara, i will NEVER EVER underestimate someone's struggle in any way, until they NEED to make such hard decision,, like leaving a group. No matter how selfish or careless it sound on the news, they have their own reasons. And as long as everyone survive, i'll be grateful. There will always 2 sides of every story. In this case, none of us have the right to say anything on skz behalf or woojin. We don't know what truly happen.
Both SKZ or Woojin fans must know, fanwar like y'all do these days are wasting time and energy. In the end, it was the best decision for them all. I get why STAY was very upset, but imagine if he didn't leave and everyday he struggled. Not just him, all members will suffer.

As granny ELF, who experience losing SUJU members due personal issue and other things, for me, everything that happen is for a reason. I will never blame any of them for the decisions they made. Because personally i dont know them. I dont have the right to say things when i dont know the truth behind it. After what happen to Shinee, i witness what my best friend went thru. She's a hardcore Shawol. I will never forget the impact of a fans losing their idol like that, it was hard even for ELF too. Because Shinee is like our little brothers and we support them too. Learn from us. I still support the 13 separate ways and thats okay. Wanna be a solo stan? Thats fine. Just support your fave with all your love and everything you got. Ive been a fan ever since Stray Kids debut, seeing him leave hurt. But he did NOT deserve the hate. Seeing him speak up after so long, it made me in tears. It made me really happy as well. Id nver thought this topic would come back after so long.
I remember Woojin leaving SKZ and the drama that followed , and honestly i never understood the hate he got. No one knows the real reasons why he did what he did, they were never disclosed, but he did what he thought was best for him at that time , its his life and its his choices . He doesn't deserve hate from anyone except the people directly involved. He's making his peace before he moves on and I respect that and wish him all the luck in the world. You must not know about the petition to kick Woojin out of the group while he was in the group, the reason was that he is "ugly" and was bringing down the group, accusations of him going to bars, and the constant cyber-bullying he received. No, none of that existed, right? Be for real.
I forgot one thing, he was still following SKZ even after he left but the fans hated it, so he just unfollowed them. But this stuff never gets talked about with "fans" because it's a stain on the fandom. Most of us are done with this and we are tired of trying to tell the truth constantly because of comments like this.
Most stays still attack Woojin because they believe If he apologised sincerely to them, why did chan feel hurt? Someone apologizing to a person doesn't immediately remove possible hurt the person being apologised too might have.
Just as you have imagined that woo never apologized to them, and just left abruptly, so you feel this apology should be directed to the skz members, it's possible he's apologising to the knowledge of fans publicly, because they're the ones still harrasing him till today. He's apologising to prevent harassment, and your solution somehow is to harras him more. I get you might not like the guy, but when you view his actions from the lens of a human being, who's trying all possibilities to end all the hate that comes his way, I think you'd sympathize with his situation a bit more.
He is literally treated worse than a criminal. You guys send him hate as though he ended your individual bloodlines or something. It's quite odd. Even if you think he left on bad terms, why are you taking it upon yourselves to send hate on behalf of stray kids, when you don't know the details of what led up to his leaving, and how it all went down in private. Skz feeling hurt is valid, apology from woo for more workload on them, or not. Woo feeling hurt and wanting to leave a job to explore his musicality in a way that he feels suits him better is valid. He's most likely apologizing because he thinks it will reduce the hate he still gets 4 years later.
I get that stays have tunnel vision to the pain the skz members might have gone through having their friend leave their shared job, but I think if this is viewed as a situation with real human beings, not fictional characters or made up scenarios or speculations, If this is viewed with a realistic perspective, all this hate would have ended ages ago.

I've seen hundreds of viral hate tweets about woo since I became cub in 2021. If 5k likes upwards per viral hate tweet is a loud minority, your fandom needs help. If tiktoks with almost a 100k likes of someone saying they'll cause him harm when he announced he'd go to Brazil is a loud minority, your fandom needs help. If the thousands of people that accused him of bullying skz members and gave the videos with cut and pasted clips millions of views are a loud minority, there's no hope for your fandom.
Cubs won't let stays gaslight us when the majority of your fandom actively sends kim Woojin hate. You people are vile and heartless creatures, and you won't gaslight me into believing otherwise, when I've seen how evil your fandom can be.

Everything happens for a reason, if he didn't leave, it would have affected him, and he knew that, that's why he left. He did nothing wrong with choosing his health. And also, if he didn't become a soloist, we would never have gotten to listen to his beautiful songs, that just ascend me to heaven
it’s not about him leaving, it’s about when he left, literally right before the release of their comeback which affected them a lot since they had re-record, re-write and many more in a short period of time 😕
They only rerecorded because they had a Japanese expansion planned where the album had the old songs. If they made the album with WooJin, they would have to renegotiate payment for WooJin being on the album.
They didn't rerecord songs WooJin has creative rights to.
Again, it's a money thing with JYPE. A fellow fan even said that they read that it was used for the members to get used to their new parts as well.

The "8 is Fate" was something JYPE set up to promote the group as 8 after WooJin left. When was the last time you heard any of them say that? 2020?
If you mention Chan saying they are 8 after seeing a venue advertising their concerts with the photos of OT9, that's because Skz and JYPE could be sued for false advertising.

I know a lot happened and i know some are still mad and hurt but thats no reason to hate on someone and attack them for years because of something they did in their past. And he doesn't do it. Very easily. Of course it will be discussed with JYP. But he doesn't have to say the reason publicly if he doesn't want to.
These rumors and accusations (He is innocent of everything) have nothing to do with JYP/Stray Kids and Kim Woojin. These rumors and accusations came after he left the group. Kim Woojin wasn't kicked out. Kim Woojin didn't break any JYP rules. Kim Woojin did not commit a breach of contract. Kim Woojin's departure from JYP was normal.

It's sad that there are so many Stays hating on him, because this makes it extremely hard for Baby Stays to understand everything....when I became a Stay last year I didn't like Woojin, because he was either cut from compilations / blurred out (you just weren't able to really connect with him) or they made him look like the bad guy...it took me about 5 months until I found some storys on wattpad, etc. that showed their real relationship (I wasn't able to watch the old content yet, because I was still catching up on all the newer content and because my brain already had that negative connection with Woojin) and some other clips, that finally made me curious about him. And now? I love him just as much as I do love the Skz members. I love his music and now I'm able to support them both. Hearing things like he got bullied by Stays and then was made the bad guy made me feel so bad for him...and it's something that won't get in my head....like...why?? Why does someone do that?? If you are constantly told as a Baby Stay that he is the bad guy (and he's not!), it's really really hard to take that step to get to know him better....(at least it was for me)...
And he definetly doesn't deserve this...
The only thing they have to do is to accept it and respect both sides....and just support them individually...(or ignore him for my sake, if that helps somehow, but don't hate him)

Continuing alone wasn't something he wanted. He wanted to continue in SKZ, but after the groundless slanders, fake news and lynchings, he was not himself and had a hard time. I don't understand those who think that even though years have passed since this incident, he still continues to insult him and wants him to die. Kim Woojin and Stray Kids sorted this out between themselves from the start. Nobody leaves a group without talking to each other about it. And without apologizing. Vi que las algunas personas (que lo odian) estan destacando la parte en la que el dice que era joven y "egoista". Yo les pregunto ¿Priorizar la salud tanto fisica como mental de uno, es egoista? Enserio piensan eso?? Sí, el no priorizó la salud mental de los otros integrantes por eso él asimismo se llama egoísta pero sabiendo todo el hate que le caía estando en el grupo y más encima siendo joven, tal vez el haya pasado un mal momento y no sabiamos.
Si bien como idol una de las cosas a las que se tienen que enfrentar es al odio que le caen de otra gente, no pueden ignorar el hecho de que Woojin era el menos preferido del grupo y que si había un claro favoritismo entre st4y (como todos los grupos en general, aceptemoslo). Hay muchos clips que demuestran que st4y (no todas) no quería a Woojin, lo llamaban g0rd0, le decian que retrasaba al grupo, que era feo incluso existe un video en donde ellos estaban en un fanmeeting y era el cumpleaños de Woojin y ninguna st4y quiso cantarle el cumpleaños y de hecho Ch4n le tuvo que decir que por favor cantasen.
Tambien a las dieta (que recalco otra vez, los idols tambien se somenten a dietas), como él ya había hablado antes, cuando estaba en el grupo, jyp lo sometió a una dieta donde solo comía una barra de proteína al día y nada más que eso a excepción de los días domingo dónde podía comer lo que quisiera y él elegía pollo.
Esos tal vez fueron solo algunos de los factores por el cual Woojin se fue del grupo, más las cosas que no sabemos (y que por eso supongo yo, en el comunicado de cuando él se fue decía "temas personales").
Y más encima con todo lo que pasó en el 2020. Yo realmente lo admiro por la fortaleza que él tuvo para no quitarse la vida como lamentablemente otros idols.
Le hicieron un rumor falso sobre que había ac0sad0 a una chica y que había maltr4t4do a los integrantes. Le filtraron el número de teléfono, amenazaron de mu3rt3 a su madre, le hicieron la vida imposible. El confesó que no se lo deseaba a nadie pasar por lo que él había pasado diciendo que sufrió de ansiedad (probablemente depresión tambien por todo lo que dijo) y algunas veces en serio se preguntaba si era el Villano.

We do not know what was going on at the time and why he made the decision he did. Seeing their bond in the past I feel it was an incredibly hard decision he made. I do know the negativity he had to endure from some fans at the time while still in the group. Yes it was difficult for Skz to rerecord and redo everything they had to due to his leaving. And yes fans, myself included, were sad to see him go. But in the end they came through it as ot8 and have been thriving. It is very unfortunate, what Woojin had to endure this whole time. At Stray Kids must one band member had to take a break for six months due to a period of "self-reflection". I always thought that they were meant to be one, y’all were like older brothers for me, i grew up with stray kids for 6 years. So After you left i was shocked, confused and sad at the same time. I tried to understand, but my mind was full of different thoughts why this happened. There were people who said that you beat your ex-members up and were mean to them. Some said it was because stray kids were the one being mean and disrespectful to you. People also made up ridiculous rumors that it was your parents telling you to leave. I knew it was none of them, but what I didn’t know was, why you left. I never expected you ever to really open up, even tho i really hoped you’d do one day. I’ll support you forever Woojin. I'm not gonna say anything about the allegations, but he left on a whim and made skz rerecord a whole entire album + m/v, also he left short before they planned to go on concerts (there are many clips where you can see them crying on stage cause they're afraid stays will leave the fandom due to woojin leaving), but something that really pisses me off is that he named his fans on skz debut anniversary so now he (still) shares that date which is obviously on purpose and looks like a attempt to steal attention from straykids anniversary not to mention he followed the straykids hashtag on insta for a while which is extremely embarrassing cause he's the one who left, move on (also I know I said i'm not gonna mention the allegations but it's very weird that he used those allegations to promote his debut which makes him look like a lowlife to me) I won't anti him or bash him, but I and most definitely other stays will never forgive him for everything he made straykids go through just to start his "solo career" which he could've done without doing any harm to straykids, too just to remind u he made them rerecord their ENTIRE discography which could've been COMPLETELY avoided - when a 18 years old was able to bare it til now he could've definitely been able to bare it for 1 more month

I don't see why he us being hated , he wanted to break the silence, and have a new start for his own career , he just wanted to make sure he is honest about the past that's all , and no one should be hated for apologizing

ウジン色んな意見はあると思うけど、本人の口から真っ直ぐと伝えてくれてありがとう。
私は、my growing painsを聴いた時に、ウジンがあの気持ちを抱えて去ったのだと思ったし、去った後も一人で闘ってるのだと思いました。何より、私自身が動きたくても動き出せないもどかしさや苦しさをありのまま表現してくれた音楽とウジンの歌声に本当に救われました。
ウジンが後悔していないならそれでいいと思うし、私はグループにいたら作れなかった楽曲もあると思うので、ありがたく思っています。スキズもみんな辛かったと思うけど、ウジン本人も大きな覚悟をもって決断したということを、ウジンに対して怒っているstayにもわかって欲しいです。
思っても仕方ないけれど、どうか本人に伝わるように酷い言葉をかけないであげてください。
あとは、ともにデビューした皆がお互いを素直に称えあって共によろこびあえる日々が来れば1番幸せです。これからも大好きです。

ive only been a stay since june last year and if im honest , you guys need to apologize. not all stays but just the ones who treated him this way. im entirely sure on the situation but rumors are called rumors for a reason, theyre not true (most of the time). im suprised you guys call yourself stays when youve thrown death threats and hate at someone, hes still a person , he has feelings and doesnt deserve it, you guys forgetting that this is someone you used to love your hating on? woojin you deserve an apology.
Woojin, if you see this, I honestly tell myself from my heart, you have improved a lot as an artist and I will always support you with a lot of love, I admire you a lot for continuing to fight for your dreams.
And I know that you were young and although your departure from the group hurt me and sometimes I think what it would be like if you had not left, I support you and I am glad that you left, because now you shine more and your music is your style
I see you happier and more comfortable with this type of music, plus you got rid of a not very good company. And I pray that your company always makes you happy and never disrespects you.
