I truly think the ps portal is a decent device for the price, but there are just so many other substitutes for it. With your review, I realized that I was right about my theory. The Abxylute is an incredible device for the price, and it looks great every way possible. Great work as always and so close to 50K! ( I’m first so that makes me Batman 😂 )

A lot of pros for the absolute in comparison to the portal and with the features that the absolute has, its a strong start for a debuting handheld . Keep up the great work 👍
I mean I never used either this device or the PS portal. Never even heard of this handheld until your vid so thanks for the great content! I’m mostly a sony and nintendo guy for gaming. So I think the portal overall is probs a bit more premium, as I find most sony products are compared to competitors. Haptics and adaptive triggers are one of the things I love about the dual sense 5 so having that in the portal is a huge pro for me on being the better hand held. And yeah I personally think sony has the most comfortable design for a controller to date so the portal would also probs feel very comfortable to me as it did for you. But I do play lots of indies and first party nintendo games on switch and this device looks like it would feel lots like a switch but just better overall since your able to play better and bigger single player story games then a switch and since it looks like it is almost like a mini PC kinda like what the steam deck is trying to do. And it being cheaper then the portal is def a huge pro for this system. Def pros and cons for all handheld systems. Always just comes down to whats in your budget and whats your preference for versatility and games. If you are like me, are a huge gamer and travel a lot tho. I find you def need some kind of hand held to play stuff
Hi there, I ordered an absolute handheld as i too have a PS portal, but have an Xbox series x also, however it comes from Hong Kong and there is a £10 delivery charge + you have to buy the case separately which cost £14 , so you must of got a good deal as you got your case included, i thought i would let you know because the deals around this handheld must of changed , also 6 days later and the handheld has only just be cleared at Heathrow airport, otherwise good video

This looks like a versatile device. Given the Portals issue with not being able to connect headphones other than the sony expensive ones, the abxylute might be better for me as i would probably mostly want to play with headphones.

From my honest experience, when connecting to PS5, nothing beats PS portal, period. I tried Asus Ally, Logitech G Cloud, Ipad Pro, Galaxy Z Fold, everything, nothing beats the latency and experience of PS Portal.
We need to try both to know which one is better. Since I injured my back, I tried remote play while lying in bed. I used an Ipad and a ps5 controller, I was happy that at least I could kill time that way 😁 but most importantly I was able to spread DEMOCRACY 😈😈😈
I like all things gaming. The cloud gaming device sounds very nice. But personally, I would buy the ps portal for the exclusives & best experience with the DualSense haptics/adaptive triggers !!!
Have not gotten a chance to test the PSPortal yet, but the hand held console seems very versatile, as an Apple snob I will say that the Android OS made me cringe a bit, but it made up for it shortly after for letting you connect your steam as well. Design-wise it looks very Nintendo-esc but other than that it seems like a decent product, maybe if it was significantly cheaper that would’ve been perfect, bust still a decent Quality Price ratio. I guess I will always cherish my old gen hand helds PSP and had a DS back in the day, have yet to experience the new/next gen ones. Though playing offline and cloud gaming are two separate things tbh, for indoors it must be alright either way.
I really think this device is so much better than the Portal. Since it’s running on Android, you are not tied up to Sony’s eco system and that’s the very definition of FREEDOM!😎
Looks like a very versatile device and could be a solid option for people like me that play games on different platforms. Never decided to buy the Portal because streaming only PS5 games (and no Bluetooth support for headphones) was not enough to justify its price.
The PlayStation portal is the best streaming device. If you have your PlayStation 5 connected to the Ethernet you shouldn't have any problems playing on the portal. If you are downloading or streaming or using a lot of wireless devices then I can see why you are having issues on the portal. Great video Anton 🎉 keep them coming man.
Cool device, but the remote play app is not as good even when using on phone, its laggy, poor quality. Moreover it needs to be connected to the same wifi as your ps5 to play, making it only usable when you are at home. Not do much for portability to be honest. But yes, its good if you own multiple consoles and just one tv, which is under ownership of your kids 😂.
I can’t believe at this day and age there is still no handheld device for playstation where you can play games ‘offline’ it feels like there just ripping people off, isn’t the point of a handheld device that you can play your games everywhere ?
Id for sure buy it if it was 99.99... something about "Powered By Android" and the store situation is a bit of a turn off. But it does seem cool. Not as good as the Portal though, as you mentioned.
Think the portal looks better and maybe feels better in hand, this device has some additional functionality though, i think it stands up well against the portal and I would give it a chance.
I would still prefer Portal due its dual sense controller capability, and i secretly hope Sony will release some updates that makes Portal remote experience much much better.

I think the absolute is a good option, especially as a cheaper alternative to the portal. Given the portal shortage and scalper prices, the absolute gets the job done.

I haven't owned a handheld since the original psp back in 2005 that i queued up at midnight for when i was living in sydney (still got it on original firmware and still got the australian power supply for it) so any handheld would be ok with me. I still play vice city and syphon filter on that old relic from time to time 😂

The portal is obviously going to be miles ahead of any third party hardware but the fact that devices like the abxylute exist and you can play playstation, Xbox and steam as well as some android gaming makes it a great time to be a gamer thanks for the content and what a great giveaway thanks!

The portal seems like it would be more natural for a playstation user to have in their hands. Both look like solid devices though.
