There’s not a phony bone in this ladies body. So genuine and honest and a great attitude. The way she just put it all out there without compromise in this race was very impressive!
How COOL!!!! to have Alison on the podcast. Super appreciative of Alison to appear - and CONGRATULATIONS!!!! on your awesome win!!! Great to hear Ali and Mari's perspective. THANK YOU!!!
I was watching Alison pulling so much in the break, I really wanted her to win. I was shouting at the tv and when she won I was jumping up and down with joy. She really deserved it. Congratulations!
Absolutely! Was telling to myself, this pink lady is doing all the work, probably wont win because she gave too much already but definitely the one who deserve it the most...and then she did it! Always happy with wins like this!
AJ- that is one big-assed rock we are looking at. And it was a great race and so fun to watch the celebration. Great job on the podcast- Women of Cycling! 💕💕
great interview Ali and Mari.. Loved watching the race and was so emotional on that last 5 km, yelling at the TV as the sprint in the velodrome unfolded... AJ did us Canadians proud!!
What an amazing interview. Love Alison’s riding style and mentality! We need more like her in the men’s peloton. Too much a numbers game and no spirit!
Dude, you just trying to be woke? The men's peloton is amazing and so refreshing for the last couple of years with spectaculair lovable riders with clearly so much passion and great mentality, joy and giving the fans amazing races. What you are claiming is totally not true and cant be further from reality, so stop trying to score woke points with your nonsense
@@billieboybuddha4238 I think what he means is their aren't many new individual personalities in cycling in recent times. There's quality riders at the moment but from a fans perspective you don't feel the connection to the persona I feel like in the times past with champs like Sagan, Cav Wiggins, Froome in men's cycling. Going back a long way we had cippo, Lance, George, fignon, they seemed very enthusiastic and entertaining. Even the quieter guys like Greipel seemed more charismatic than some of the rides now. Many riders now seem aloof or nonchalant.
Great interview and it is refreshing to see an athlete so genuinely happy. My wife and I have been following pro cycling for over 30 years together. Roubaix is always one of our faves. Alison's finish was one of the first time that racing made us JUMP out of our chairs together. Chapeau from Tahoe City, CA.
If the whisper was that moment when AJ covered her mouth with her hand talking into the ear of Anderson, I believe I have it for you. AJ asked "You know who DIDN'T win?" and she answered her own question: " SD Worx!!" 😂
SeattleMarko - this was an amazing and moving interview. Alison you are such an inspiring person and a fantastic ambassador for bicycle racing. Hope more dancing is in your future!💪🥳🏆
1. Clearly Alison doesn't just inspire young people. Clearly Ali & Mari are also inspired fans. Clearly I am now a fan as well. 2. I predict Wedu will grow significantly in followers due to the "Femmes" version, it's just much fresher and authentic than the boys. (sorry gents). Enjoyed this, keep it up!
Awesome « WEDU girls » podcast - bravo! AJ, watched your win live, home on Canadian soil and you made this 75 years old road biker so proud - love you!!
Was wondering all week when this episode was going to air - now I see why the delay - was so worth the wait! Great interview Mari and Ali! So heartwarming to hear of your connections to Alison. So cool to hear the insights from Alison herself about getting into the break and how it unfolded for her en route to such a legendary win!! awesome to hear that fellow Albertan and a Canmore-ite Sara Poidevin played a role in this epic victory too! So proud as a Canadian of Alison’s inspirational and amazing performance! Thank you!
The Move Femmes is a great addition to the [very] congenial Lance, George, Johan and JB offering. Mari & Ali were able to probe into Alison’s strategy at this year’s Paris-Roubaix win. Congratulations to The Move’s first women’s podcast and to Alison’s thrilling Paris-Roubaix win. I’m looking forward to more insight from the Move Femmes’ duo.
One question that I wish was answered: how heavy is that trophy cobble? Congratulations to AJ and thanks for sharing your experiences. Great interview!
How refreshing it is to have female commentators in the programs, and even more so with excellent commentaries, the themove is my favorite program in cycling but unfortunately the program in Spanish has been declining, Esre Víctor does not contribute anything to the program and if it were not for Jhohan I would not I would see him again.
@@glennoc8585 Yes! I studied French for many years and lived in France - and can speak French, but I think it is a dialect thing. I try! Thank you to you both for listening. I am always happy for feedback! I try!!! #watchthefemmes
Outstanding show! Many congratulations to Alison Jackson on her win. First Canadian to win Paris-Roubaix, man or woman!
Loved this interview! So amazing to have the winner of the race on the podcast. Thanks to THEMOVE for supporting women's cycling!
Great to have Wedu and TheMove supporting women’s cycling! 🚴♀️ 💪

thanks, Mari, Ali for interviewing this incredible champion! It's time we give airtime to the Women winners. That said, I'd dance with her any day..

I wondered where the women's PR The Move had gone.....This was a great, and what a fabulous person AJ is; richly deserved.

Interesting to know the deal with JV to allow and agree to this interview .
Love you Alison but it’s pronounced parry not paree and it’s femme not fomme. Love what you guys do. Keep up the great work
I did french at school and my teacher pronounced Femme as Fomme, heard it often as 'Famm' Maybe it's a regional variation.
