Mad to think M dot R was a laughing stock a few years ago. When he first got publicity on a music channel everybody slated him. But he quickly got attention and respect from Jamaicans because he was genuinely passionate about the lifestyle and culture (even though he is white British born and bred), and now a lot of people rate him
He’s really done amazing to stay strong in the face of the attacks he had when he 1st went viral.
It also shows is really in it for the love of music, or he would of quit I’m sure
'Back to the line like a q' he's saying if music don't work he'll go back to the trap line. A q being short for a quarter ounce... but also has the double meaning like you said about lining up in a queue.

He's been around for like 9/10yrs but only recently blew up with a video of him mixing up his flows with his Jamaican accent he's known for which he says he picked up and practiced that went viral then he released "Turn Red" with him having hella fun in a music video that got millions of vewis in like no time at all mainly because of the lyrics, his delivery and the general viral feel to it and well here we are 😅
You should check out M Dot R - Turn Red. That's the song that made him boom up.
