Makina is a fusion genre of Happy Hardcore and Hard Trance. It is typically a bit less bouncy than happy hardcore, a bit more loop focused, and builds up to a longer climax than happy hardcore. It also tends to feel a bit darker than happy hardcore.
Makina has certian things that make it Makina like, a Rayada, stabs, contra's and of course the melodys, you would never get a melody like in makina in other genre's not even trance, alos the spanish are the pioneers of this sound
@electrosnowman 1: pastris&beurni but av forgot the name haha 2: k meloth hold me in your arms 3:stomping tune by nemesis and neil surtees 4: not shure 5: mc stompin bouncy house
This music, if you take the piano/hands up breakdowns away, and replace them with rave stabs, youve basically got the Scott Brown sound of 1995 except makina is faster. The kicks and percs and off beat stabs are all sounds from that era. Im not a makina fan, but Im open minded enough, what is it about this style that defnes it as makina? Like what are trademarks of the makina sound?
Lol, if you look just over the CDJs, you can see audacity running. I have the same recording setup, have audacity on my laptop, check the levels constantly, makin sure they're even, etc
