- War Robots Dagon Gameplay using one of the oldest weapons in the game, the Magnum combined with Daredevil and Otto. For those not familiar with the Daredevil skill, this pilot skill boosts your damage by +18.75% (when maxed) but at the cost of not having an ability. However… in this case when you combine six Magnums with Otto you have one very deadly build.

I've tested Dagon with Magnums and Otto before but never with Daredevil. Who would have thought this build would do THAT much damage - not bad for such an old weapon. Also if you missed my video on the Blight weapon, you can find that here: ua-cam.com/video/_sfU9jTBtdY/v-deo.html
I hate the DAGON bot....is invensible with SHIELD fortifiers....THE SHIELD DAGON IS a problem
@@dylancalle195Using Crisis,shield breakers,weapons with a high burst damage weapons like scatter,havoc,devastator or cudgel,mace,hammer with a robot like ravana or typhon or weapons that deal high damage with a short reload time would resolve that problem pretty easily.

Kinda funny being accused for cheating for running some of the absolute oldest weapons in WR.
Peeps have a hard time counter it, since u never reload.
I mean, these are just a downgraded version of spear, that don't get increased damage on 2nd and 3rd shots. Other than that, they can still work (Just not as well on non-meta bots because you need a lot of magnums for decent firepower, hence making the dagon best for magnums.) But they have INSANE fire rate.
It was tested that current magnums beat spears at 350m range because of their fire rate if you use otto schreyer. They beat them not by damage but by mothership charge rate. Damage wise it is found to be almost the exact same.

With the magnum you get .5 seconds of reload time. So it is really a constant rate of fire. Multiply that times 5 pulse all the add on you have. I am thinking this is the build I am going to run. The cool down rate is what I look for and magnums are the fastest in the game as far as I can tell. Cudgel is the other build I am looking at. What is your thoughts on the cudgel ?

Well .... I don't really play WR any more after dropping WAYYYY too much $$$ into Pixonic --- but I still watch Adrian sometimes - and this one was really fun to watch ! LOL!
I like the idea of magnums with Dagon because while the Dagon is generally one of the most expensive robots to level(cuz the weapons) the magnums are yellow grade
I like older weapons, magnums n punisher-ts are my favorite. Thanks for displaying the firepower of the magnums with Otto as the pilot. Unbelievable Adrian
Magnum is my one of the favourite weapon as in early in this game this weapon was very effective and taran also
When Magnum and Tarans came out they were incredibly overpowered. That's the reason why most ran plasma Griffins and Rhinos back in the day.

Magnums are so decent in low leauges when you don’t have a full setup. I like using them to fill weapon slots
I personally run otto dagon spear and when you charge the spears up they can start doing crazy damage its by far my favorite build

Just a guess here but it would be terrible. If there's any of the following present in your games then Aphids is destined to fail.
- if there's Phase Shift
- if there's Aegis Shields or Absorber Shields popping up
- if there's lots of resistance
- if there's fast moving targets
- if there's lots of stealth
The above are just a few things that would hard counter Aphids, Vortex, Thermite but you can add Volt, Weber and Gauss to that list as well.

I did run magnums on my first dagon which was the first setup used as I was loving the magnum kephri though i had to stop using them unfortunately because of ochos

I solved the Titan pilot development. It was cheaper than I thought. I couldn't find Jack, but I made a video for myself in which I know how many skills and what is needed in total.

Hey adrian i saw ur spending on the baby account and i was very happy about u finally getting a super chest i cant wait for u to get more superchests as u save for the 200% boosts tho one thing u should keep in mind is that nowadays theres only 2 or sometimes 3 200% boosts whih u should only spend keys on them but sometimes when the black market is on its last days there will be no more 200% but one final 150% before the last days which i reccomend u spend keys there before the black market resets since spending keys on 150is better than nothing lol and one more thing i gotta ask u have u been doing ur pve? They do give u alot of keys and i do have a strat in mind if u want it

Watched a video of yours from 8 years back and realised how the game was much better then, the explosion effects, camera shakes, even the maps looks more spacious. Can you do a comparison video please? That might help developers show how misguided they are

I don't know if different motherships habe different charge rates but it seems that with that chargr speed with the magnums you could spam mute motherships and have mutliple enemies blinded a lot or maybe even when focusing on a single enemy, have them permanently blinded...

hey adrian, I got a dagon too luckily and I was wondering if the fortifier modules (2x) and a nuc amp (1x) is a good module setup for it. Would really appreciate the reply
I'd have to try it with Fortifiers. Generally I don't like using those modules because if someone has Shield Breaker whether it be the active module or a pilot they've negated your entire module. If I use something like Immune Amplifier it gives health and speed so even if the enemy had Shield Breaker it doesn't really affect the module itself.
If not many in your league are running Shield Breaker then I think Fortifier would be a very good module to run. I'd probably run maybe Nuclear Amplifier, Fortifier and then Last Stand. Hope this helps!
you should have paired this with the paralysis drone, i use quad magnums on blitz with paralysis and it locks down enemies in two shots
You could use Paralysis but Pascal makes a big difference since it gives you not only more damage but also resistance which keeps your Dagon alive at close range (which is what you'll be doing most times with 350m range).
the fact that dagon has 6 weapon so you could make almost everything build work
I've actually been trying a few builds out and some aren't that great. For example I tried out Quarkers which wasn't bad although I think Magnums might be stronger. I've tried even Shredders and I think Magnums are stronger overall.
@@adrianchong im gonna be honest here, quarker dagon was really good but after quarkers overheat they lose a ton of dps

@@aqop5548 Yesterday I tested Scald, Spark, Ksiphos and Claw and was finding the Magnum build did better than all of these (including the Quarker). Maybe it was just by luck because I played quite a few games. To get a better idea I need to play hundreds of games to compare.

That's the other build although I don't think Otto will really help you as much as you think with Blight. Blight already fires faster - remember Otto affects the rate of fire not the interval between bursts. This is why when I did the other video I used my own pilot to give it +5% extra damage along with Daredevil.
It’s like 40,000 damage per second with no reload. Didn’t do exact math though. (Before pilot skills, drone buff, and modules.)
For how long does Pascal give you resistance?

I love the enthusiasm.. reality is; magnums are good of you have otto . .. he gives + ~50% firerate..
But that aside; having a top bot, yet un-nerfed, new maxxed drone, that both heals and does up to 42% damage, a top mothership.. this setup could carry ANY weapon..
(Apart from maybe 5-6 commons..)
It will even make punishers look good.. try it out.. 6-7 mill damage per game.. 😘😘🤜🤙🤙
Magnums are a tier two weapon (blue) I believe. I have enough of these maxed out to run this build. I'd just have to retrain an Otto pilot.
I wasn't expecting that kind of damage from a tier two weapon though even with daredevil. The rapid firing definitely helps. It looks like a fun build to run too!
I actually have a feeling these weapons might be better than Blight when it comes to dealing with Curie but Blight is safer because you really don't want to get close to the Curie's turrets. But... aside from the turrets I notice with Blight when I was reloading the Curie would often recover quite a bit. With Magnums because they're constantly hitting you the Curie sometimes couldn't even recover.

Not sure you brought this back, Adrian. I've been using this for 2 months, give or take, and it's my favourite bot to use
You don't really see Magnums being used in Champion League. Spears and Blight maybe but not Magnums. What's tipping things in Magnums favour here isn't just Otto but the Daredevil skill - this skill alone boosts your damage almost +20% (18.75% to be exact) which is quite considerable considering these weapons have no reload and with Otto pilot fires faster.
Well, I am aware these are not the best weapons in the game, but then im not trying to be the strongest player on the map
But i do find them a lot of fun, which is what a game should be, I've seen the blight video, and I intend to use it on the next dagon i get
Which is a bit ironic as I recently sold 4 because I already have 3, the other 2 are ultimate halo and dragon marquees
I hardly ever use the ultimate halo dagon, because I find the other 2 way more fun
The marquess does well, at mk3, they are 7,103 per shot, times that by 11, then 6 is 468,000 damage for just the weapon without modules and pilot skills, etc
I have dropped to master because dying to ochos in 3 seconds before I've had a chance to move was getting really boring, but I will soon be back there in champions league

I've actually tried Quarkers. Actually after I recorded this video I tried Quarkers, Scald, Spark, Shredders, Claw and Ksiphos. The Magnums I found actually performed better than all of them lol.

It won't be the same since you can't fit those weapons on Dagon. I have however tried Tarans on Fafnir with Daredevil and it wasn't bad.

Have you tried running the dagon with sting?
Yes. Tried it with Midea Nerium, Nuclear Amps, Daredevil and Pascal - it's one of the worst builds for Dagon along with Volt and Toxins. In fact if I had to short list my top builds I would say Blight, Magnums, Magnetars, Spear and maybe Kramola with Kramolas being the weakest on that list.
Try Gekko on dagon 😂

Ive about given up on the idea on my Magnums knowing it would be better to spend my Dorito Chips on using them for my Magnetars ..
However seeing this vid sure is making me reconsider as my Magnums ( only 4 of them ) are @ MK-12 . The other 2 are MK- 10 ...
So it wouldnt be to hard of a stretch to get them to MK2-12 then to MK3 ..
To be honest MK3 is just a few short more than MK2-12
So maybe I could get by with just four @ MK2-12 & the others @ MK3 ..
My Magnetars ( four ) are @ MK-10 .. The other 2 are fresh outta the box.
So it would appear I can get this build of Magnums up & going in less time than the Magnetars
I honestly thought only the Brave woukd use Magnums in Champion League ..

I remember when the magnum was one of the best light weapons in the game. Back when the plasma griffin was the best build in the game. In a time when you could farm gold. And get wins without spending copious amounts of money every update. When they didn’t release things intentionally over powered to push sales only to nerf them into the ground the next update.
That was also when the game almost died because they were making no money. I think this was around the time they were bought over by Mail.Ru.

Probably because I was shooting bots with physical shields. Physical shields will charge you up much faster. Also it depends what weapons too. If you're running sonics for example it'll take 2x Nuclear Amps to charge up quickly - one won't be enough.
I buffed my Magneters with daredevil dagon
It's easy to do this if you're dealing with non meta bots in your city map
Hence why I showed highlights after so that you can see it do damage to Curie which IS a meta bot. Also I'm not sure what difference meta bots makes when you see this doing damage to Titans. In the game I showed I believe the Heimdall at the end was level 130-140 which is almost max level. Mind you he was probably taking damage from behind but you can still piece two-and-two together when you see what I was doing to the other Titans.

Because the counter does not go up to 1 million. I believe I have 1.4 million Power Cells.
Just say it... the Dagon shield needs a nerf badly
The Dagon's shield is very strong but you also have to be careful of nerfing it. Reason? Well… we have Shield Breaker as an active module, some pilots have a built-in Shield Breaker, some bots such as Crisis have a built-in Shield Breaker with their ability and then we have motherships like Thor which disables all energy shields. There are a lot of counters to Dagon.

Yes they should buff them because players care about balance. This way I can wipe out Titans faster than Rust weapons and Ultimate Avengers.
@adrianchong this build only does this much damage becouse of the dagon, any other robot with all the same damage skills and otto would deal like 30% less like the blitz since it has 2 less weapon slots
@@-Jkrsz- The crazy thing is that I tested Quarkers, Spark, Scald, Ksiphos and Claw. I actually found I was having more success with Magnums. In fact... in many 1on1 fights the Magnums was clearly way stronger.

That won't make any difference when your weapon fires so fast. Also the whole alternating shots to me is trying to be fancy when it really isn't needed. For example if I'm hitting you with all 6 weapons I'm getting that damage in all in one shot. Why does this matter? Well if I'm getting that damage in faster your weapons are more likely to fall off faster. By alternating the shots yes I can fire constantly but I'm also taking longer to knock your weapons off. Hope this makes sense.
Funny not a single broken OP currie in the match ? ....every match I play they run 2x2 formation
You might want to watch until the end. I knew someone would comment on something like this. Just an FYI. I ran into a few Curies too and because these weapons fire so fast when you're charged up, if that Curie doesn't have help from their teammates you will chip away at them faster than you think. I've hit Curies with Blight and what I noticed with that build is that during the intervals between shots the Curie was somewhat able to recover. These weapons there is no slowdown. Watch the [10:20] min mark.

"What the xxx" ? for real? You're running MK3 META robot and how many META you killed? Most of enemy are old robots!! I think the new score mechanism pushed so many unqualified players to champion league and they just became meat for top players.
Hence why I showed highlight clips at the end - one with the Curie so that you could see what it did to Curie too. Although it doesn't take a genius to figure out after watching the first game and what I did to Titans with this build. If I'm shredding Titans with this build it won't be much different when it comes to meta bots.
I think the downside of this build is robot with the physical Shield but how fast your mothership is charging it insane
Because these weapons have no reload and fire so fast I don't think physical shields are really a problem. If your Nuclear Amp is charged up you pretty much melt through shields.
Imagine one of the oldest weapons getting nerfed because of this 😂😂

I was saying after I recorded this I was curious about some of the other weapons. I tried out Shredder, Spark, Ksiphos, Claw, Quarkers and I think Magnums actually performed better than all of those.

Whenever you are using your unstable conduit, your power cells don't go down , TELL ME YOUR SECRETS
That's because my Power Cells are at 1.4 million. I don't think the counter was designed to show anything above 1 million.
Do you change your name every vid
Often times I do so that no one knows who I am. This gives me a better representation of the builds. When players know who I am they all focus me down or if I'm on their team they follow me. This is NOT normal gameplay so the results won't be accurate. By changing my name I get a real sense in terms of which builds are more likely to work. Hope this makes sense.
Imagine they nerf magnums next update
I was looking at Magnum's history in terms of buffs and nerfs. Since it's release it was nerfed once where the rate of fire was decreased by 10%. However the damage has increased +41%
I already did this and my account got erased...huh wonder why
