Toby didn't made sound bcoz u didnt kept quiet..... U said in an interview that it will be an example of what mass film should be.... Don't needed those kind of comments on other movies..... Most of my friends said this and didn't watch the film and those who watched had high expectations.......and cinema didn't deliver that hype...... But malayalis loved cinema bcoz they didn't had any hype.......
I don’t know why Toby was failure!!! It was amazing amazing movie!!! It was so so so heartbreaking!! I have cried so much!! And such an amazing movie with message it shared how every human will eventually turn into demon when he gets power

Toby was a gem of a movie. If only they had thought of a different climax, it would have been a classic like Pithamagan.
The whole angle of a grieving father dressing up as Maari seemed very forced, especially when memories of Kantara was still fresh.
Excellent movie.. except the climax... Good observation... We needed better writing in taking revenge

I am great admirer of his work and always rooting for his film ..but TOBY felt like he was greatly driven by his personal emotion of creative revenge .. the script felt haphazard .. the balance of artistic and commercial did not match well…felt he overhyped the movie too much… the movie was underwhelming
Toby is actually good but this gold fish generation wont get it 😂 because it's slow paced and humane

Toby is an excellent movie. A slow burner but a good cinema. However, climax was a bummer. It was artificial and not upto to Raj Shetty standards we experienced in GGVV.
That doesn't make us tell that the entire movie is bad. I watched it in theatre and I don't regret it.

@@darshanbhat9457 There was no tiger dance after GGVV. I am Tuluva and do not speak Kannada. The only reason I started watching Kannada films is because of the glimpses of Tulunadu culture in the Shetty Brothers' films. I will be perfectly happy if they stay true to their roots and show more of the local flavour. Kannadigas have plenty of other choices for stories, so why complain?
