Can I give you a couple of tips reversing? Line up your combination straight , or as best as possible, while backing in to your desired spot. This has two benefits. Alex can stand at the back driver side corner of the van, where you want to place it. Then that gives you a guide of where you’re aiming for down your driver side mirror. When you do get into position, in a straight line, then there shouldn’t be any twisting energy in your caravan axles/tyres. Therefore, when you unhitch, the drawbar won’t fling sideways like you have experienced and questioned in previous episodes. Also, communication is key. But you don’t even need handheld devices. If you have a clear view of Alex, simple hand gestures is enough to communicate directions. This is my experience, working 30 plus years in transport. Cheers.
Go and get you some of the BOS leveling legs they are made tough and can lift the van complelty of the ground with ease and safety. Love you guys. Note we lost our beloved Beagle Dexter a few months ago so sad. Sorry to hear about you Dad hope all is well and our praise are with you all at this time.xx
For the love of Jesus buy some handhelds so you can communicate with each other while reversing and/or finding that “perfect” spot. We are newbies too but good & effective communication is the key. Maybe do a caravan towing course? We learnt SO much about varied aspects of caravanning, especially reversing! Master left hand down/right hand down to direct Luke into the spot he needs to get into! I know this video is a few months old, so maybe you have done these things already but a few investments can make what seems hard tasks a lot easier and ultimately less stressful 😊
Can always let the tyres down on the opposite side to get your level. I’m sure you have a compressor to pump them back up when you leave. A lot to be said for air bags. 😊
You hit that tree stump, I could see from your camera view from front of caravan, that you were gunna hit it. Probably first with the step and then the caravan wheels would've just scraped along the edge of it, lucky you did tear the walls out of the tyers.. Take a look @31:40 >. Funny how the camera stopped working just before it happened, or it was edited out.
I agree with others watching this felt like screaming so frustrating to watch . I thought we were bad but that was terrible I just ask hubby what he wants me to tell him . He does the rest
Heads up. in this video, it shows you looking and handling your phone whilst driving. Cops are onto this and watching vids and sending out driving offences accordingly. Trim that out of the vids m8
Why are you digging holes????? Use the levelling ramps, its not ment to be 100% straight, you need 1-2° of offset for runoff when it rains or the A/C condensation to drain off the roof or to pool in the awning
A U jealous they are living a life of now work home work home have no idea about what! Who is living a life with their kids travelling and spending time together all the time. Guess what they don't need your approval
Come on guys. I loved watching you but this is terrible. I'm sure this was a piss take and not real. I can't believed that I just watched a video on reversing 😂
U can see they went back because his dad was in the hospital. What do U actually expect Im 12 mins in and enjoying the video Nothing nice to say , say nothing at all

@@thatfalzonfamily I could see the scrapes on your tyer walls while you were setting up / levelling up etc...
@@jaksmasterthis is the least edited channel and you literally criticize them for editing out “bad bits” or mistakes…… seriously
FFS go and get some BOS stabiliser legs Lukey 😂 you’ll never look back. You can thank me later 😊
which way is that way - left or right
park in the open then you get some use of your solar panels your air con will use some of the extra power generated by the pannels

If you ever come through the blue mountains in nsw you'll have to try mountains top pies in Wentworth Falls, they are the best.
