bruh. xg does everything Kpop except sing in korean.. they even do korean variety shows that idols do. i love XG and love Kpop. why is this such a wierd topic for people? the only thing they do not do is submit songs into the kpop lists. i wish they would though cuz they would def be winning music shows and probably would have won rookie of the year.
@@ds-zd9qz listen you give yourself the answer I think the entire Korean media knows XG is not kpop the only who doesn’t know are international fans unfortunately who just watch an Asian gg in Korea and is just kpop even if they aren’t singing in korean which is the most terrible mistake that people do with kpop . R&B hiphop pop with a strong influence of old school is what XG music is . If you wanna watch a Japanese group doing KPOP MUSIC watch nizui they are doing kpop the Korean music that has a tradition from decades the Korean genere that people don’t know exactly about it. So have a nice day and if you really like kpop and XG just give them the place they deserve each one musically sayonara ~~~
@@kai200731 I agree with everything you've said, but it's also true that Simon in the documentary mentioned that at the end of the day it didn't matter how you wanted to label the group, the important thing was that they wanted to bring their music to as many people as possible.
