We have to add that one to our list. Had no idea there were salt flats in the area. Thanks for sharing. Lynn and Danny

It is definitely worth a stop! It would be fun to explore them a little more with a smaller car. I'm sure there's a lot more to see out there.

What an awesome episode. I love living vicariously through your family. I felt like I was hiking right along with you guys, and I would so be down for all those snack breaks. I think it is so wonderful how you guys engage your kids and allow them to keep their adventurous spirits as they build their confidence in experiencing new things!

Awww, thank you! Snacks really are the best...in reality, we need them just as badly as the kids do. We really want to build their appreciation of nature and getting out and exploring as they grow!

I live in this area and if you ever go back through it then you should stop in Wells NV and see Angel lake it is beautiful and the scenery of the lower valley is awesome. You can drive up to it, but there is a hike to Smith lake from the Angel lake parking lot also.

Another amazing video! The salt flats definitely seem otherworldly and the mountain scenery is beautiful! Loved the hiking tips for the kiddos too 😁

Thanks! This was the longest hike we've attempted as a family. It was really encouraging to see how well the kids did. They just need the proper motivation and the right amount of carrying vs walking 😄

Thanks! It sure is! The fall colors in the canyon were especially good. Pretty much all of the hikes near the end of the canyon give you those high vantage points to see it all too!

We just moved to Utah from Alaska and the Bonneville Salt Flats is on my short list to visit. I drive by there frequently but haven't had a chance to stop yet. Thanks for the great video. I will be making a video of our adventures as well.
I have never heard of Lamoille Canyon. I am going to research that for sure!!!! 👍

The salt flats are super accessible since it's just an interstate exit. Definitely worth a stop! Lamoille Canyon too. We'd highly recommend the campground there if you don't need a data connection. The alpine feel there seems so out of place in northern Nevada!

This hike with two littles was one amazing accomplishment! I Love your videography! That really sets your Vlog s apart!
Just sent this on to a newer camper, and for myself to remember to visit on My Bucket List now!

Thank you so much! We really appreciate the feedback! Sometimes with the littles it's just part encouragement and part carrying them 😉
