Did you eat at Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi? 0:48 If you don't intend to talk about in the article - how was it? Was it worth the high price? Super curious.

Yes I ate there. Amazing experience being starstruck by seeing certain pieces of sushi live. More on that in the post.

Tim, did you cut and join these moments by hand? Is a duration for each moment is irregular or some system is applied like: 1 second min and use only integers?

Yeah I took hours of video and used iMovie in a Nigerian hotel room to make that. And no, no rhyme or reason-just cut each piece to a length that seemed right and then played with the order. (I don't know how editing works.)

The robot lady at the end looks vaguely like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory.

Come on ... really? You have been to Tokyo Akihabara, some Tokyo disney-like shows, Tokyo Sky Tree Tower, Tokyo Fish Market, a baseball match (probably in Tokyo) and call that JAPAN IN 90 SECONDS? Should be Otaku-Tokyo in 90 seconds =p
14 days and you did THAT?
I have been in Japan for 14 days before and I visited, not extensive:
Tokyo: Akihabara, Ueno, Meiji, Sensouji, Sky Tree Tower, Ginza, Shinjuku, Shinjuku-goen, Hamarikyutein, Sumida Cruise, Shiodome, Shibuya, used a lot of Yamanote Line (no videos of that?) ... IN A WEEK, then I moved for a week in Kyoto, from which I visited most of the touristic areas and quick visits from there to Nagoya, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kanazawa (yes, that far, but only 2h on a Thunderbird) and Miyajima.
And visited mostly of all that is in that video too.
Not to mention I went to Yokohama and Kamakura in a one-day-from-Tokyo trip.
You blew your chance to really meet Japan.

Dude, he's on a rushed four country tour, he said that he'd only visit the odder places, he needed time to speak extensively to Japanese people and expats in the country to understand the culture, and write the article there to get a full experience, all in no more than 3-4 days, give him some bloody credit!

Well at least put a "weird stuff from Tokyo in 90 seconds" =p
