It’s always good when people stop to help. That’s a community that cares. Great video.
Definitely!
In the 80's I came upon a weight limit bridge that concerned me so I walked across and down to the waters edge,of the 3 wooden pilings supporting the middle, the center and my side were rotted completely thru and the 1 on the far side was almost gone.. I carefully walked back across the far lane thinking I'll just allow someone else to have that fun and I found a better road
Yup, definitely smart to always visually inspect yourself
The happenstance of this video is extremely entertaining. The supper fast forward with sound with the truck running was hilarious.
The word for the day is “persevere”. Good job sir.
Thank you Terry!
Haha…it looks like Mr. DP did buy the Volvo Haul Truck at that auction… Hopefully it was the one with the straight pipe exhaust. That truck sounded good. Lol. Thanks for the sneak peek!
Mr Perfects precarious pyramid of pottery pipes piled precipitously on the pavement, perchance to plummet, permanently preventing pre-planned pipe laying. 🤪
Good one 👍
Pipe laying could be altered to pipe placement?? Lmao! funny as is!! Great job!!
Side note. I would have thought DP would have used some of those cement blocks on the end of each row so they wouldn't have run the risk of rolling out destacking the whole pile anchoring down the end rows
Very nice
So I was watching Dirt's live the other night when he mentioned you having a tough time. I went for the obvious and figured that you had more breakage. I was quite wrong! Well Bud, you always go for the GOLD!
Wow, What a great video you got out of a corn field. I know it was not great for you, but you had an abundance of content. Thanks for all that hard work, you are great !
Appreciate ya watching Andy!
Congrats Mike on getting the Mack out of the field. I did found myself rocking back and forward too. nice save. lv the video.
Lol I appreciate the help!
I love the IFTA stickers still on the dash😂
That way we can move them from truck to truck. 😂😂
@@CaptainKleeman lol
And I thought I was behind putting mine on a couple weeks ago
The power steering line failure couldn’t have come at a worse time….argh! As usual tho…you seems to roll with any obstacles in fall in front of you. Calm, cool, and collective solutions to get the job done. Really digging’ your channel Cap! 👊🏻
Hey appreciate that! Thanks for watching
Yes he really adds Mellow to the group hangs out with. Yanking rope lol! Did not spell it right. Voice texting stinks
That saved bumper made the Mack go pssssss.
😂😂
Two days two loads. Some days would've been better off staying home. Lol God bless
"Googly eyes, and playing with my hose(s)"......I just found the #tagline for your channel!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol
Thanks for sharing 👍
Appreciate ya watching!
It’ll be fine.
It’ll be fine..
Shakes his head.
Funny when you do it too!
Lol
Got to see the new haul truck two months before seeing it on dirt perfect channel.
Go to dp channel go to play list go down to trucking n you will c bubba dumper aka haul truck
Lovin the works T shirt there Capt 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
In every day a little rain must fall.
Yup 💪
Gotta love getting stuck and great video buddy 👍
Appreciate ya watching!
In the high speed video, the Mack Truck sounds like a sports car.
Lol
some awesome trucking video mate, really cool to watch. wouldn't say you are stuck just yet XD, great line.
Thanks Marcus
I like the leaving the hitch in trick saved my bumper and tailgate a couple of times
It works! Lol
Cap’n, we are normally in pretty close agreement. But, this time I’m gonna have to go cross wind on ya.
Turning around and backing up the lane is easier but, it isn’t necessarily better. I mean, what would have happened if that steering line had broken on the road?
You know as I do that it would likely have been on a curve, at high speed and with traffic all around. What then?
I mean out in the middle of a corn field, buried half way to the steering axle, along side a dead end country interstate… there’s no way you were gonna crash and burn a’la Grand Theft Auto!
Think about this:
- the networking you were able to do with the neighbors.
- the commerce pumped into the economy from putting on not only the busted hose… but it’s perfectly good cousin.
- Giving the neighbor a chance to test the might of his baby tractor.
- Finding the Googly Eye in the truck.
- testing the value of a good receiver hitch on a pickup.
- And, most importantly that all important bonus footage of another machine that failed to be “Kleeman Proof”.
Yep Cap’n, in this case me thinks the road never traveled was the best choice!
You want to have an Adventure? You want to Meet new people? Just screw up one more time!! Hahaha!! I've heard that before!!
Ol'e Sassafras is a glass half full kinda' guy !

@@sassafrasvalley1939 lol
Random oversized googly eye... yup, something you expect to find in your toolbox... bonus - it has a magnet on the back.
I mean who isn't carrying one around
That oil cooler is taking a serious beating
It's been that way for a while. Not sure why they mount it in such a vulnerable position
That's funny, A busy three house road!! My grandfather lived on a road like that, one of the neighbours came and went quite a bit and my grandfather used to say "that guy must make twelve trips to the market for a dozen eggs!"
😂😂 I like that
Better to blow a power steering hose in a field somewhere than on an interstate doing 65 with traffic on both sides. Yes I always leave my trailer hitch on.
Pipe dreams.... Field of dreams.... Shade tree mechanic ..without a shade tree. What else can I say. More power to your steering. LOL Hope the next load goes better. Have a good one Mike.
Lol love it
Always fun in field when things look good until not
😂😂
That's why you need 2 people out there with you one in the truck 1 in the Bobcat
Would definitely help. But a helper isn't in the budget lol
Love the adventure. To bad the pump went down and the tractor was to small. It's all good. Almost, "Perfect". I do sound effects to!
Appreciate ya watching
Been there, Those special days when it all goes to crap. Well you did handle it, Fixed his truck in the cold rain outside, No matter what you push through and at the end of the day that's what matters.
Thanks Craig!
I laughed way too hard when you backed into the mack...
Lol
Very entertaining! I was waiting to see low low and a tug with the kubota to see how fast a Captain Kleeman can transition from kubota to a mack! Cuz that would be safe and all....😁
That's a good way to get killed.. not my style
Did you notice a googly eye power reduction. Lol God bless
Well you got her out lol. I like the fire hose for abrasion resistance, I'll generally use a piece of old hose split down the middle.
That definitely works too!
Captains version of the Exxon Valdez. Lol God bless
Getting stuck builds character :)
Great video Mike
Thanks Kevin
Yes on bridge weight limits.
👍
we all have those days. except me and you have the same luck. lol
Lol
You know,a set of tire chains probably would have created enough traction to drive that tractor out of the field, dragging the wagon behind it!😎😎😎😎 Couldn't resist saying this, considering our past discussions on the subject. You the rig out, fixed the power steering hose issues nicely, got a little more muddy in the process, but it was fine! Catch you next time Kaptain!!😎😎😎
I need a nap after all that !!!!! Was a good day after all 👍👍👍👍
Appreciate ya watching!
You learnd a lesson . Like combining you can go like hell , plug that head your srewd ,you can lose hours. Take time , you can onley mike cows as fast as the slow one does in a parler . If it took 30 mins more oh well .
Nice recovery!
Thanks!
Yes on the bridge limitations!
👍
Check out the Form A Funnel, it's an awesome cheap little formable funnel that could direct oil dripping away
Those things are cool!
That is hilarious how you have it sounding like a dirt bike
thanks mike for the video
💪
"Like a ship on the ocean ", you being a captain in all, that should fit into your wheel house, if you know what I mean.
I reckon 5 minutes with a tape measure and a couple of different coloured cans of paint marking up those pipes would be a good investment!
Nah
Your attitude in every video is awesome. I should go about every problem like you do and maybe I wouldn’t curse and freak out so much. 🤣. Hey, I have a ton of friends on EFD. Just remember one thing! When you go to the training tower on the “west” side you are on the “BEST!” side. Hope you have brought your wife and kids to the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. Have a great day!!
Hey that's great! Appreciate ya watching!
You backing off the trailer and hitting the hitch on your truck reminds me of an old oilfield saying of back up until it sounds expensive 😁. Nice recovery my good man.
Hahaha, I love that
road rules, bridge weights mixed into your stuck truck videos might be nice.
There is a lot of traffic on that dead end road. We all have those days. Nice of you to postpone your own projects to get DP on schedule.
Always an interesting day with the Captian
💪
When I have a day that goes like this, I stop for the day. My experience is that once a day starts going down the drain, everything else follows. I find it better off to start over then next day.
Like I said,. Rain was coming that night. Wasn't an option
Ladies and Gentlemen!, I present to you the one, the only, the UNMITIGATED Master of Disaster Mitigation: Captain Kleeman.
God Mike the anxiety haha. Been there! Thanks for sharing your struggles!
Appreciate ya watching!
Not gonna lie, I peed a bit when you checked to make sure the hitch was still in the back of the pickup! 🤣
😂😂😂
You would think Mike would have a set of the fork extensions that go around the existing forks so you would not have to fight the pipes that are too long for the skid steer.
Not worth making for a one off job
Loved the outro!
Hey thanks!
Calamity Jim. lol.
Lol
when theirs that many cars comeing and going their not selling hay im just saying. alls good till ya hit the feilds . all in a day fun . cheers captain.
Lol
Tuff one capt.
Part of it! 💪
just have to match the job and the machine.
I am not stuck I just can't get out of here :)
😂😂
You just never know when Murphy is going to show up. Good video for us, not good video for the boss.😂🤑😫
IS that Volvo dump truck, the Open pipe truck from last auction? Let's dig had an eye on it.... Mike DP also..... clearly ;-)
Must have been a big day lolol
😂
Drop the lowboy and pull the truck out. Then line the truck straight with the trailer and hook back up and go. Easiest way to get out. Waste of time trying to get out with the trailer hooked up.
How did you get the trailer out with all the brakes set once you disconnect? Way easier to just leave it connected. No reason to turn one recovery into two.
38min, top left, is that a steering fluid cooler? Does the state its in matter?
I think they work in any state.
Hi Captain,I know it's not your job installing the pipes but I can't understand the logistics of this job. The amount of time and fuel to get all those pipes onto site must be high. The trench is going to be very wide and deep to accommodate those size pipes. Those pipes have to be lined up and I don't see a flange on either end to allow for connection.Normally pipes like these are laid on sand to prevent breaking another cost.Has Mike got a video of the installation and why they went this route instead of plastic tube ?
It will all make sense when it's done
It was good of DP to get C&C to add all that strong metal at the back of the trailer a month or two back.
Exactly! Wish he would have put a push bumper on it lol
Yea leave those knee knockers on they do save your bumper
💪
Hey Captain what about using Tire chains on the drive wheel it will tear up a bit but might make it work but the Right track or have Mike put on a winch to pull himself
Kleeman r sure you took the right truck? I think u were supposed to use the new Volvo offroad dumptruck. If not DP definitely set u up for failure! Is there a running tally between you and farmer chris on who gets stuck the most? 🤣🤣🤣. No worries my man if you did nothing then nothing would happen, keep on grinding 💪
Nice job Mike, great video.
Thank you!
Just going to drive out in the field till I stop. he said. Save some time unloading. He said. 1 load in 2days.
😂😂😂
Rough day but everything turned out like it should have.
Yes sir 💪
cringing while you are pulling the chain with that skidsteer, I've seen chains break and throw broken links at you , stay safe Mike, nice vid as always.
Yup
Remember to, always replace your divots.😉
Know it sounds like your RPMs are revving too high 🤣🤣
Please do a video on weight limits.
👍
Captain, we have all ended up with a 2-day project that started out by doing something to save time, one question, was it a lack of time that prevented you from taking a load of pipe with you when you went back for the 140?
Yeah, and motivation really lol
At 15:09 Squirrel.
that truck would one drove right through that field but you never grabbed another gear to keep your momentum and definitely should of grabbed one when it really started to spin and 2nd if you had a driver there he would of been able to get out empty without pulling just gotta know how to rock it looks like you attempted to but can't shift fast enough to actually accomplish it also I you have forks on and can't pull something out stab them in the ground but do have it curled down all the way the curl won't have a enough power at that point have to be around about half way curled stab the in and back up and curl out at the same time
None of that matters when your steer axle sinks bud.
@@CaptainKleeman lmao your steer axle was fine as can be until you kept messing around not knowing what you are doing and making it worse spinning is not winning clearly you're a novice and can't admit when you're wrong that's why you kept making the situation worse and worse the truck with a driver would of rocked her the first couple times and would of popped up out of there but instead you just mated it in a low gear and kept digging yourself a hole everyone can see the video and what happend inadequate driver is the reason and when you try to rock it you need to be in a high gear not first or 2nd you won't have the speed so you kept bouncing in your ruts you made and created the front end to sink and digging material out with skidsteer just makes it worse you get more wet ground that way and slick but I guess that's why you think you're a super trucker 😂 absolutely a novice driver
I knew that you wouldn't get out by yourself. Lol
Me thinks ,by the time you get that truck out of the yard ,and onto site ,it will be night-time......far canal...
So I thought you were getting a running start and going to jam it with the skid steer.
😂😂
I wish you or DP would film some of the tearing down of the factory and chipping the tiles up that were left unsold. After DP's tour of the old factory, and the grounds around it, I found it to be one of my favorite videos he has done. This is assuming its not already all gone.
Just an idea that might only be of interest to me and no one else.
Hard to film someone else's job. But it would be cool
Learn not to spin your wheels and throw down some straw or whatever then which ever way but no spin. Then repeat opposite direction. Clear in front of steers and maybe other idle wheels. Don’t spin. A moment in the right direction can save.
It's a great theory, it's just not practical.
put cribbing under them load sideways.
Does the mack have locking rearends?
Autos
Ok now I see you got help
Yup! Awesome neighbors
No Lockers on the Mack?
Nope
Hi thanks for the great entertainment... Lol! I am in my fifties, I've lost my wallet once when I was ten I had a w dollar bill in it and maybe a couple of odd things no big deal, I lost my second wallet when I was in my 20s had no money in it,cause I at least learned not to keep money in my wallet😊 but I lost some very important Id health card ,birth certificate social...It took me years to even try to retain the birthcertifcate and social before I realized how hard it was to replace those two ...I keep the important ones in a safe now, and oh yeah the reason I thought of this was your comment about looseing key's lol! I have never ever in my whole life lost a set of keys ,and I keep a double of every vehicle I drive ,one in my pocket and one in the ignition... I'm thinking if your looseing key's it's probably because you keep them separate 😊 oh and the last time I lost my wallet,I'm 98% sure one guy at the party stole it. I just don't loose stuff.😊
Well after all that I can understand why lol
What do you mean by county road, never heard of that in the uk.
Short version, county is local government. It goes. We have a state, and then there are counties in the state, and then cities in the county. So county roads are typically rural roads
