I always remember my dad telling me about the mine and the railway, he is now at peace in the cemetery in Sannox.

That wheel must have been very impressive in its day. Interesting that there was such an industry on the island. You would have thought the shipping cost would have been prohibitive, but it must have been worth it. great video!
