  • “We are no longer in control of what has passed, but we can control where we are now and where we are headed to.”
Two days after winning the Tokyo Marathon with a course-record time of 2:02:40, marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge returns to his home in Kaptagat, Kenya. It’s a place where Eliud is focused on making impact as an environmentalist and conservationist, using his foundation to grow 50,000 trees in the immediate locale, in order to leave behind a healthier world for his family and future generations.
Our new series “What Are You Working On?” uncovers the works in progress happening around the world as athletes navigate journeys in and beyond their sport.
Eliud Kipchoge is working on making sure the world that he leaves behind him is healthier than the one he knew. Never Done adapting.

How many gold medalists/top athletes in the world live like this? Humbling to see. Less is more. The greatest of all time, truly.

I tell you one thing I'm from Kenya ...we all know this guy is a billionaire but the life he lives isn't the same as other billionaires... he's so humble and driven. The fact that he's a billionaire does not deter him from his common goal. G.O.A.T attributes

David and Goliath - Malcon Gladwell (chapter II - Teresa DeBrito)
"Teresa DeBrito is the principal of Shepaug Valley Middle School. Although most people in the United States believe that small class sizes are highly desirable, DeBrito worries that the classes at Shepaug Valley are shrinking too much. This is because she has taught both very small and very large classes and knows that while large classes are exhausting to control, they’re usually more successful than incredibly small classes (contrary to popular belief). In fact, tiny classes are difficult to teach because it’s especially hard to incite exciting discussion with so few people. By outlining this dilemma, Gladwell suggests that it’s wrong to assume that students will do better in smaller classes, since this isn’t always the case."

@@Hope_Muchoki96 my amigo, I am born from Japan, speak Japanese natively then Spanish and finally English now, and I still understand the faulty use of those words. It’s not about a lack of knowledge for example it appears Eliud is well versed in English and reads in English, his use of those words are more compulsive in nature, sort of how someone says ‘um’ and ‘like’ a lot.
