    I saw the movie today and absolutely loved it. The dialogue was hilarious in so many parts, but it was the timing and presentation by the actors that made it even better. There were places I couldn't even hear the entire string of comments because everyone was laughing too loudly in the theater and it drowned out the end.
    I was honestly surprised by how much I loved this movie because even through yesterday I had been debating whether or not I wanted to go and had almost decided against it because I didn't know the characters. But then I heard someone compare it to Avengers and said it had funny lines like that, and that tipped the scale for me. I'm so glad it did.
    A few hours after I left the theater I wanted to watch the movie again. I can't wait for this to come out on DVD so I can buy it and add it to my collection of movies I know I'll have the random urge to watch again far into the future. Thanks, Marvel! :)

    I loved this movie, been reading the comics for over the year and in my opinion it is top 3 best film produced by Marvel Studios. Biggest gamble and it paid off. And tbh this movie made me CARE about the characters! If Captain America or Hulk or Hawkeye or really anyone else died, I wouldn't feel anything. If Groot gets scratched, I fricken bawl (not just cuz of my account name I'm being sincere here)

    • @YuTubrz
      @YuTubrz 10 років тому

    • @zeroskaterz92
      @zeroskaterz92 10 років тому +1

      it's called character development. having Drax being overpower in the first film would be stupid considering Ronan is nothing but a bitch to Thanos and Drax knows it. if Drax himself realized he was not good enough to defeat Ronan, which makes him hype up to be stronger in order to defeat Thanos.

      That was a Celestial being. They are ancient powerful super tall beings. Here: marvel.com/universe/Celestials - This will help explain more about them. Google search: Marvel Celestials. There are many Celestials in the Marvel Universe. They are one of the most powerful beings in the Universe.

    in the scene where they bring the stone to the Collector you can see a prisioner sitting on the back with a red cape, any ideas on who he is?

    • @KinnonP
      @KinnonP 10 років тому

      You've got better eyes than me, I caught a slumped figure with what I thought was red outfit, but didn't register it was a cape.
      Off the top of my head, it could be an in joke that the collector has Superman in his collection, just a throwaway gag, he's got the most recognisable red cape in the whole of comic-dom. though if it's marvel cosmic characters, then there are a couple of cool options:
      Beta Ray Bill, if the guy has a horses head.
      Gladiator, the strontian leader of the Imperial Guard, but he rocks that huge mohawk and purple skin
      Of course, weirdly, it could be somehwere that loki stashed Odin, while he assumes his role in Asgard, he has a big red cape too. *wink*
      I'm sure there's actually dozens more in the Collectors place. Gunn and the crew put so much love and fun stuff into this film.

    • @YuTubrz
      @YuTubrz 10 років тому

      KinnonP
      I noticed him too the second time I saw the movie. Looked to me like a quite normal humanoid, void of purple skin or anything that would make him seem too different from your average person. That might have just been since I forgot my glasses at home though, could be a mistake on my part. Hope that helps some, sorry for being so ambiguous with my description but as I said, I had forgotten my glasses so I didn't see him too well haha.

    • @AprilThompsonDeadpool4eva
      @AprilThompsonDeadpool4eva 10 років тому

      It could have been Hyperion, he's the only Humaniod in Marvel that I can think of with a red cape, with the exception of Thor obviously.

    • @taylormcmanusmusic4980
      @taylormcmanusmusic4980 10 років тому +2

      I didn't notice that, but it could be Adam Warlock. He wears a red cape, and his cocoon was seen in the post-credits scene in Thor: The Dark World. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled the next time I see the movie.

    • @KinnonP
      @KinnonP 10 років тому +2

      Taylor McManus Music Oh , excellent call, you can definitely see the cocoon again in the background in Guardians too, Adam makes the most sense of any characters who might turn up, plus you can't really have the Soul Gem in the marvel movies and not have Warlock attached to it in some shape or form.

      Yeah that movie was weird but wonderful. I guess the thing you have to go in to that movie is an open mind. At first I thought it wasn't good, but it was all of the unusual characteristics of each personality that rubbed off on me wrong: however, after getting used to the differences in each of the characters the movie became a masterpiece.
