It is "hitscan" but with a set time delay. You can track up close exactly the same as from afar whereas normal projectiles need to account for travel time. The bullets always arrive at .25ish sec delay as opposed to needing to compensate for distance.
@@jomom2872 the tip that shows up on the side of the screen while that guy is explaining says that you would need to adjust your aim if the enemy is moving faster...that is the opposite of hitscan and describes normal projectile weapon behaviour. A projectile weapon is a delayed hitscan already but instead of depending on some arbitrary point relative to your crosshair it will hit where your crosshair was x milliseconds ago, it's not what they're trying to describe. There's no reason at all devs would design such a weird and convoluted hit mechanic.
I was done at "the character models are ridiculous" AS IF ITS A GAME DESIGNED AROUND OBTAINABLE BODIES?! XD sorry but its literally insane to make a super hero extremely ugly/weak/useless/wasteofspace
Calling squirrel girl fat is actually insane. Like, I don't care if you're into her or not but FAT? If you think she's fat then you have never seen a real human in your life. Redditors truly making the memes about them real.
some shitty 2016 "if im not healing you that's because ____" support meme got like 20k upvotes. The sub should just be called r/supportcirclejerk with how many posts are bitching about DPS players. The Peni players also glaze themselves like crazy from what I've noticed
Yep, I had some of my comments massively downvoted when I calked out support players. People on the sub will hurry to blame thenk tank or the dps but never the healer.
@@teeheeteeeheeididit6379to be fair I KIND OF agree on some of them. The Punisher is wayyyyy to big lol he looks like a Baki character and why is Magneto so massive he's 70. 😂😂😂
Hot take: if you want to get out of diamond, do not do the usual bans bandwagon of Hulk/Storm/Banner/Hela/Luna. If you ban Rocket/Cloak and know how to play Invis Woman or Mantis, you will win 70% of games. Does not work after Diamond 1, but Diamond is a completely free climb when those supports are banned.
Winrate is less important than personal impact. You gain more SR when winning with high stats and impact than with low stats and impact. Likewise you lose less elo when losing with high stats and impact.

the one about rocket being hitscan is destroying my brain please help me WHAT,.,., this just reminds me when someone was trying to argue to me that sojourn was a hitscan,,,,,
At first I though that the “delayed hitscan” thing was something along the lines of “It is not a proyectile because the time to hit is the same independent of the distance” so it would take say 0.5 seconds to hit at 5/10/100 mts. But that is not the case for rocket since time to hit for the bullets absolutely depend on distance lol
A line is drawn that lags behind the recticle. That is why the tracking delay for aim is the same up close and really far. Sad to see seagull not finish the video and comments flaming merchant when he is correct.
I'm not looking at the roster when I say this but I'm also pretty sure that there are more male characters in the game who aren't "roid monkeys" than those who are, and the male characters who are massive are usually massive in the comics as well. Winter Soldier and Iron Fist are not the same size as Punisher, who is a super soldier in this game. Magneto is massive, but he's also massive in many other depictions of him. Venom and Hulk are Venom and Hulk.
i also love how seagull, being on the scale, gets so excited about people becoming passionate and angry, and then himself gets passionate about it! gotta love it! #autism 🤣🤣🤣 #iykyk
I tried out that guys rocket crosshair on good faith when the video came out and good lord hes just straight up full of shit. Its specifically set just to work in the one small example he shows and has practically no real use case. Also the delay hitscan thing is so easily disproven but morons just take anything they're told at face value. Its set my community back YEARS BRO
@@tristannottrysten Burst dps so they don't have to rely on shitty teamwork. Its also why dps are ALWAYS the first thing to be instalocked. If supports were super boosted they would be instalocked
@@tristannottrysten Tanks maintain advantage, healers protect advantage, DPS MAKE advantage. Tanks and healers are definitely there for DPS to shine, and I'm sure Diamond and below players don't shine that much.
Idk, man. I feel like there's a lot more dps players that suck than support players. Supports can only do so much. They can't complain about not getting heals when they're not getting the elims, lol.
supports often need to realize tho that them healing perma isnt actually helping at all, if you arent healing then attacking and finding a balance as strat you are inting more than the spiderman you complain about, being serious when i say strats can dps the fk outta people but they legit get scared and run rather than defend themselves way too often
I think that the guy talking about Rocket's primary not actually being a conventional projectile is onto something. I have noticed it when I am trying to hit people that are literally at point blank range, and I still have to lead my shots - and the lead distance seems to be very similar to when I'm hitting people from mid range, which is weird. It might be that the animation of his minigun's bullets throws us off. Further testing is required.
Not really a hot take but a lot of support mains (at least the ones who post and comment on reddit/social media) are insufferable and lack any accountability. Not saying all of them and I get that the role can suck sometimes but to act like you we're sent on earth by god himself to fight off 6 dive heros every game is insane. Must be hard picking what to play between rocket raccoon and victim
Another thing about the Spiderman take. Spider-Man does NOT have a fast one shot combo without Venom team up. Without Venom, the best you have is Web - E - Jump into Uppercut - Swing into Animation Cancel Web (MUST HIT OPPONENT) - Ground Slam This combo is not too hard to master, but it’s very slow compared to other dive characters. It gives healers lots of time and leeway to heal up either themselves or their teammates. The top Spidey players do insane movement tech; that’s why they can play so well at the top level. The animation cancel B-Hops into sliding uppercuts and all that tech. That’s what makes him viable. Saying Spidey is not hard is arrogant and wrong. Maybe he’s not hard in Bronze, but past that, people actually know how to use buttons.
Rocket's gun is not hitscan at all. Any hitscan attack, no matter if its delayed firing or no, will hit the target INSTANTLY no matter the distance if it's aimed on target. It's extremely easy to test. Go into the training range, stand next to Luna or on the upper staircase next to her, and tap to fire 1 bullet from Rocket's gun at a bot on the distance range. Make sure you headshot to listen to the tink and the delay between your firing and the noise. Afterwards move down to the distance range, stand at any distance you want on the meter marker, and fire 1 bullet at the same bot's head and listen to the delay. It will be much shorter because IT'S A PROJECTILE WITH TRAVEL TIME AND IS NOT HITSCAN. The closest thing to a "delayed hitscan" hero in Rivals is Psylocke because she fires 2 hitscan shots for every 1 firing requiring you to calculate and sort of lead your 2nd shot independent of your firing. Do the same test with Psylocke and her shot will still hit the target at the same timing at both distances, immediately after firing. That whole misunderstanding with Rocket's gun is almost as bad as an awful Magneto I played with once that kept doing melee (which does 40 damage compared to the 75 of his direct shots) and was begging for a Wanda to do the team up buff. Right before we lost he was talking in chat about how "melee Magneto" lets him win because it's strong. He didn't even realize the Wanda buff gives him long range energy slashes that do the same damage at close and far range as long as the slashes connect. Then he had the audacity to say I didn't know know the game when I told him as much.
Please ignore the coping rocket players who genuinely think it's "delayed hitscan". I tested in the range, if you're up close to a target the bullet hits instantly, and as you walk further away and test again, the bullets take proportially longer to connect. It is 100% a standard projectile, just with a pretty fast travel time of 150m/s.
True but people like stylized characters in crazy super powered stuff more often than grounded realistic depictions if they have the option. It's like comparing the Avengers game to this is no contest which is more striking and memorable even though the Avengers game looks fine sometimes.
@ sure but it’s idiotic to not admit it’s not just about “stylized characters”. It’s legit just sexualizing female characters. That’s all it is. It’s okay to admit it but people take it as an offense which shows their true character
I think what he meant by delayed hitscan was that the reticle is just slightly ahead of your shot while moving it, but theres no bullet travel time. He didnt really prove that though, and im almost certain it's a projectile.
The guy saying final hits with Scarlet Witch doesn’t matter is partly right since Scarlet is the character that can steal the most kills, if an enemy is in a bad position in a team fight and will die to someone she is the most likely character to get it even if she contributed the least to actually killing the person.
yall are 100% sleeping on witch and certain comps you can absolutely destroy as her. she isnt a high skill ceiling character at all. its all positioning.
The video looks like it's a projectile. If you go frame by frame, you can actually see the bullets move through space before they hit the wall. It doesn't hit the wall in a single frame as soon as it's fired.
I do think supports are boosted up until a certain point and get stuck until they learn the actual game outside of "spam heal and try to not die". I didn't see any on my team that I would say were genuinely good until at least diamond/low GM.
10:23 when you can get a scwitch + namor you can have a crazy anti dive setup. I also like scwitch ult as a solution to double support ults if your mag can bubble at a decent time. If you can’t dps her, can’t cc her, you either have to play off a barrier that can be broken, or leave the area of the supp ult. In which case the team can get value. Very situational and I say this as the magneto player .
8:44 Bro, you realize she has a right click attack that she can weave into her left click, right? And that attack does 70 damage with a direct hit, has splash damage, and she's got 4 shots in the tank with it. I really don't get all these people who act like her DPS is bad. Maybe its not Hela two tap good, but its respectable, especially when combined with her aoe stun + escape ability. She can live in the backlines feeding off med packs indefinitely, just like Psylock.
She's not awful as an assassin but honestly she does shine pretty hard when on defense. Not only does she get heals when hovering around the team, she also can avoid getting focused by ghosting in turn forcing a disengage since your allies are shooting them WHILE you're stunning them AND you're just a damage field on the objective the enemy can't avoid.
@@EpsilonKnight2 true, its easier to get her ult off on defense too, since that is where the luna ults and bubbles are. I think the fact she is flexible like that is one of her strengths. You can player her on your backline, on the flank, in their backlines, and you'll still get value.
She physically can not be viable in high ranks because then she would DOMINATE the game for 80% of the playerbase. There is literally not a single change you could make to her kit that would make her good in Masters that wouldn't be 70+% win rate in quick play and bronze 3. Honestly the fact that she has a 47% winrate in Diamond and above and Bronze 3 according to rivalsmeta is a fucking anomaly that should be applauded by Netease
Copying from a post I made on r/marvelrivals Scarlet Witch Arguably the worst character in the game and looking to give her a boost in viability in higher ranks without effecting her too much in lower ranks. Attempting to tie her changes I made to landing directing hits with abilities which will be good for good players and not really changing a whole lot for players that can't aim in lower ranks. Low ranks will complain about the Ult no matter what so doesn't matter what changes are made to it. New Ability Passive -Curse: - When Chthonian Burst hits an enemy (directly not splash) or the enemy is in Dark Seal they will be marked/afflicted with Curse. Curse will stun enemies for 0.5s, every 0.8s and lasts 4.5s. (Curse works like how Dark Seal works right now in game) Attacks Chaos Control: - Now only charges Chthonian Burst when the target is marked/afflicted by Curse. - Deals an extra 4 base damage + 0.2% of the enemy's max health when the enemy is marked/afflicted with Curse. Cthonian Burst: - Direct damage increased to 50 from 30. Splash damage decreased to 30 from 35. - Chaos Control no longer reduces cool down of Cthonian Burst unless enemy is marked/afflicted by Curse. Promotes actually landing the attack and punishing missing. Dark Seal: - Cooldown increased to 15s up from 12s. - Enemies are marked/afflicted by Curse when inside Dark Seal. With the addition of the Curse mechanic this ability needs to have a higher cooldown for balance reasons. Reality Erasure: - Immune to damage during charge up. Can be stunned out of the ult. - During the 4 second charge time; enemies in direct line of sight within 15m will be marked/afflicted with Curse. - Slow down increased to 35% by 1 second and 50% at 3.5 seconds. From max of 35% by 3.5s. One of the worst Ults in the game now will actually be more of a major threat. Forces CC. The movement nerf is to stop the Ult from being used around corners waiting for full charge as you will be too slow to meaningfully move towards the enemies while the Curse debuff will allow for you to move towards the enemies to counter the movement nerf but still forcing you to use it in the open. Forces you to use it more in the open to give the enemy time during that full 4 second charge time to CC you out of it.
the alt attack should be stronger and a more viable means to play, that introduces skill expression basically to be balanced for low and viable at high you need anything that allows skill expression in any form, to be better than the baseline bot so moira for example usually wasnt considered strong at high rank, but there is still some expression through dash movement, trying to be unkillable, timing on positioning, i compare because its an autoaim succ character introduce some synergy between abilities with a passive, or tweak something in the ult, something to make it more like dva bomb, which is a perfectly fine ult in high elo (arguably something to do with the fact wanda just fuckin dies against better players, but in my opinion there is a real use case in a luna vs luna where youre unkillable and the enemies are bunched up together and one-shottable, i quite wonder why scarlett players arent using the support ult situation with an ally ult to their advantage, for their survivability)
Swap main fire. Gain charge to your beam by landing projectiles. Reduce tracking immensely for the ray. Shorten ult activation by 1 second. After explosion she gets a huge speed boost and/or okay shield for a few seconds. Fixed.
Not even to start, Im a filler player, we were doing for a round and a half 3 supports, we were about to lose and a switched to Winter Soldier and we got the draw to then win on the tie breaker, I simply don't instalock bc math tells me, someone who is somewhat mediocre but is happy with their choice is better than someone who is forced to go something else or worse, going with a bad comp to start.
Started playing 2 weeks ago, I'm playing 1 dps character and that's it and I hit Celestial after 1 week of ranked. No way in hell I could do that if I need to learn 2 characters in 3 roles. It would take so much damn time.
Because we don’t play characters based off their difficulty. We play characters based off how fun they are and more dps are more fun then supports. Also, what makes you think that the people saying support is easy aren’t playing support? I play every role and I think support is easy. It requires the least mechanical skill.
That’s the thing, we DO and it’s hilarious. I made a new account and I played nothing but support and climbed to celestial 3 IMMEDIATELY meanwhile on my main I took me WEEEEEKS to get to even grandmaster on DPS.
I got some friends in from league and they almost immediately identified how busted and easy supports are. It was so funny that every time the enemy tried to do anything we had a luna/cloak/Sue ult ready without even trying
Bruh I played invisible woman for the first time when she came out and lost it when I realized she had long range thresh flay, that ability can be so powerful
I've gotten MVP as a Jeff because I'm not heal button but I'm hanging out in the back line bothering the heck out of people. I may not be a black panther but everyone wants to kill the little shark even if it means getting off the objective
Support are the worst players ? Lmao stop healing dps and watch them run into the other team over and over again then proceed to blame you for not healing
I don't know if that is comparable. These types of games are based on team fights where players assume the other players are going to naturally fill the role they chose - If a DPS is in a supports line of sight it's a natural assumption that they can take riskier fights because with a healer around they have higher effective health Meanwhile. In the example the comment brought up. People do not have a map of every player in the game - If you are being attacked or suspect you are going to be ambused it's better you communicate that to your team then just expect everyone to drop the fight they are currently on to check if you are okay
If the enemy team is getting healed and you aren't healing that is just a heal diff. To know if dps players are bad just have all of the dps switch to healer and all of the healers switch to dps and see who performs better on the other role.
@@why1638 op and you are prime example of a boosted support. A DPS will both fight with your tanks on the frontline and go on flanks depending on the situation. Refusing to heal a DPS is wild. If you want them to do the actual damage as opposed to running after health packs constantly you have to heal them.
3:00 there was a panther in my ranked game TARGETING our cloak and dagger, i was playing starloard and couldnt do much, he played crazy good, had us both locked in spawn, acted like i leaving and my first response to our support was " i cant do much but im not leaving you." The whole time our team was easy pushing point. Felt like they were going to mald and play much worse if i didnt help. All to say help eachother out more ^-^ you play worse angry and play soo much better saying and doing things altruistically
Literally just hit gm tonight playing support, i feel like the boosted allegations are pretty true considering i have the mechanical skill of basically a penguin. (Highest I’ve ever climbed in other shooters were silver in apex and valorant) while I’m surrounded by mechanically gifted players who are the top percentile in many different games. It’s totally fine though as long as I’m doing my job fine.
My hot take is that Black panther is easy, people that play him aren't good at the game, and BP mains are usually the most toxic in the game. I never played him, only seem clips, decided to play him once, and within 2 minutes I was hitting one shot combos in the backline. It's stupid easy. 1 star difficulty hero.
Why Seagull do you wound me so? Rocket is fun and fits a niche that I enjoy. Though healbotting in the back is boring af. I enjoy taking off angles with dps with Los of my team. Help the dps secure a kill and circle back between them and the tank/tanks. Running around like a psycho with a machine gun in Rivals feels sooo good.
If you have an editor let them know to zoom in on the text whenever you are talking it was kinda hard to tell when you were giving your take or just reading one :) just trying to be helpful
Didn't even watch the video yet, but the thumbnail made me irrationally angry. I want that guy to never be allowed to have healers on his teams ever again. After a month of that let's take a look at his games.
As a Luna main, CD takes a lot of technical skill. Luna requires more mechanics (IE aiming), but I find CD harder to play personally. I can't really wrap my head around when to switch between heals and damage, and I find cloaks escape harder to use than the snowball because of the extra step required to switch first.
Luna is harder, when you play more CD it gets easy. Try putting the swap forms on mouse wheel. I have my invis on shift and the walls on both forms on right click. It helped me alot. Having just the bubble on E. When you swap forms hold jump to get to high ground.
Same shit different game. Support mains don’t deserve to be in whatever rank they’re in ever. Solo queued Support to diamond in the early seasons of overwatch and people gave you shit for every single little mistake you make.
I think that guy's comment about Spidey is , like me, sick of all the people being like "omg Spidey is so hard I am just so much better at the game than you because I can play Spidey". When in reality, it really isn't that fucking hard
That Rocket hitscan video with the custom crosshairs... i used all the crosshairs he made xD took me a minute to set them all up... they made sense to. But then I found I couldn't hit stick, so i went with a dot and my aim improved 100%. Some of those crosshairs just get in the way.
@@sirwolfiusmaximus4201 based, people just want some quick hack to land shots better that doesn’t exist. I guarantee your rank won’t change because your storm crosshair is yellow and angled 45 degrees, practice.
Okay, but if it's not considered too mean spirited. More of that guys cross-hairs need to be reacted to and laughed at. He's such a grifter, but they got huge on tiktok so I see those nasty unusable cross-hairs all over the place 😂
I had a game where a player that didnt have a clue how to play groot saying "when are you going to heal me?" he been heald the whole round non stop and we lost 99-100. then next round he said I WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO HEAL.... We lose 0-100....
My hot take: Any “alt” or “unranked to GM” acc is a smurf as soon as it queues for ranked. Learn heros in training and qp, the way the modes were intended to be used. Qp has SBMM, the difference ain’t that bad. There is zero reason to have another account when you can just play qp with friends instead of boosting them. It’s also not fair when low elos q ranked that their match integrity can be ruined by ppl who don’t belong in that elo.
That doesn't solve anything though, there's always going to be new people playing the game and people just starting their ranked journey of all different skill levels. There will always be people in lower ranks that don't belong there for whatever reason.
QP is not where you go to practice. You'll only get real games in ranked. But I agree, top players should learn to be okay with losing to learn new characters rather than making a new account and starting from the bottom. Its very tricky situation.
Rocket's healing fields from his secondary do not stack and last two seconds. The balls also bounce 10 times and have a decent seeking area when they find a damaged enemy that isn't already being effected by an orb meaning you don't really need LoS. Unless your team is constantly separating or running away from the healing fields you have time to put in damage. Rockets main issue is that he's only deadly in 15 meter or less range, but he has a tiny hitbix, two dashes, a wall crawl that greatly boosts his movement speed, and when you use your own blue packs you ascend from the heavens and can hold jump to float slowly while shooting. Rocket cannot burst like Adam from the backline, he does not have the tools to kill alone because he has no CC, but he can be a nasty surprise. If you take an off angle, climb high, hide ect. you can absolutely blindside a character with how much damage you dome them for with your primary fire. However that takes work, which means a lot of rockets don't bother. Your damage is never going to top charts because you aren't throwing it out from across the battlefield and you aren't clipping the enemy as you try to heal a bunny hopping ally. It'll just be whenever an idiot gets to close or when you see an opportunity to push an angle. I'm not going to pretend rocket isn't easy to healbot on. If your conservative with your placement of your res totem and just spam healing orbs you'll get nice looking stats. You aren't Luna though, you can't burst heal well enough to make that your only contribution. Check a rockets kills after a match rather than their damage. The ult and easy healing is going to pad the healing or assist numbers, but if a rocket is making plays by shredding enemies so that the rest of the team can burst them down, then they're actually a good rocket and their kills will reflect that.
This exactly. Rocket is low skill, that much is true, but not using his high dps up close is just ludicrous. No one in Overwatch should ever healbot. In Rivals the same should apply, if you can secure a kill and everyone is healthy you stop healing and start blasting. I've punished so many people that just think rocket is a free kill and often times I either get them so low they still die after killing me (A tank for a sub healer is genuinely a worthy trade) or I win the duel outright because of his high theoretical dps (similar to lifeweaver except it doesn't take half a year to swap between firing types)
im hearing "stand still so i can heal" in diamond from supports. im genuinely hearing them say "i cannot aim in diamond" yes supports are boosted. if not macro wise then absolutely mechanically
It's even more hilarious that there's only really 2 healers that don't have significant targeted or radius healing. Luna has to aim her regular shots but still has the guard auto targeting and Jeff needs to mostly aim his spit and bubbles.
Okay so everyone on reddit seems to think this game has losers queue. So, here is what I found. Situation: DIamond player mostly using Thor, Venom and Mantis, firend is gold, made an alt to play with him. At first I played Mr Fantastic and Wanda. Off role characters to learn. We ranked until I hit gold3. Then we hit a brick wall. It was like every other role was massively diffed or gap- sometimes me included. Games were so hard. So I switched back to my "Diamond" characters only to still lose? But wait, I thought I was a diamond player, right? Nope, still, every other role was massivley gapped. We went into discovery mode, after like 15 games loss streak. Surely enough, almost all of our teamates in these games were on massively loss streaks- including us. Idkw but the game just paired us with people who were also really tilted and on losing runs. This is what I call losers queue. As for "Why cant I carry him out with diamond play style in gold?" Well, because these aren't even close games. Like literally watching allies run into walls and jump off the map, afk for 4 minuts after deaths, etc. Like we'd win a few fights here and there, but never win the game. And it felt like it didn't matter what I did, there was no way I could save the game. Stats for my accounts: Main- Diamond rank 131 games 79 wins Venom: 56% win rate Thor: 52% win rate Mantis: 60% (only have like 2 hours total with her as she is my fill) 2nd account: Gold rank 128 games 51 wins Wanda: 39% win rate Mr. Fantastic 42% win rate Thor: 48% win rate - I didn't play any other tank, but did dabble in other DPS like hawkeye and Iron man- all losses after like 2 games each Now, does this prove losers queue is real? Maybe, maybe not. All I know is that I looked at the other profiles and it seemes to be that the enemy team is stacked with people on wins streaks and my teams were full of people on loss streaks- inlcuding me and my friend. If you doubt, I have screen capped the games and matches and can compare the profiles. I am now a believer in losers queue bro... can't believe I would ever say that
Or maybe diamond isn't as good as you thought and playing random characters in gold and winning consistently actually still is a challenge. Maybe diamond players don't have any real game plan or think about the game in a different way to make a difference in a gold game of people just doing random shit.
@@fighisver Maybe. Still doesn't answer to the fact that for 15 games or so, the majority of the people in my team were on lose streaks and the majority of the people in the enemy team were on win streaks.

the one about rocket being hitscan is destroying my brain please help me WHAT,.,., this just reminds me when someone was trying to argue to me that sojourn was a hitscan,,,,,
At first I though that the “delayed hitscan” thing was something along the lines of
“It is not a proyectile because the time to hit is the same independent of the distance” so it would take say 0.5 seconds to hit at 5/10/100 mts.
But that is not the case for rocket since time to hit for the bullets absolutely depend on distance lol
A line is drawn that lags behind the recticle. That is why the tracking delay for aim is the same up close and really far. Sad to see seagull not finish the video and comments flaming merchant when he is correct.
@ that's crazy wrong
imagine playing a game that is based on comics and then complain about unrealistic body shapes, have they ever looked at a marvel comic before?
I was looking for this comment right here 😂
I'm not looking at the roster when I say this but I'm also pretty sure that there are more male characters in the game who aren't "roid monkeys" than those who are, and the male characters who are massive are usually massive in the comics as well. Winter Soldier and Iron Fist are not the same size as Punisher, who is a super soldier in this game. Magneto is massive, but he's also massive in many other depictions of him. Venom and Hulk are Venom and Hulk.
I mean the same thing is said about the comics too
i also love how seagull, being on the scale, gets so excited about people becoming passionate and angry, and then himself gets passionate about it! gotta love it! #autism 🤣🤣🤣 #iykyk
To be fair. Depends on the comic artist at the time. Some are super stylized and some draw the characters very realistically
Saying squirrel girl is fat, is pretty wild.
The comment that got deleted by a reddit neckbeard mod under the one talking about "unrealistic body standards" was the true hot take.
If black widow had a single extra ability such as a trap or extra movement she would instantly be a tier
Rocket is the wolverine of supports. Everyone is playing him wrong. He melts tanks and can do very well in 1v1
I tried out that guys rocket crosshair on good faith when the video came out and good lord hes just straight up full of shit. Its specifically set just to work in the one small example he shows and has practically no real use case.
Also the delay hitscan thing is so easily disproven but morons just take anything they're told at face value. Its set my community back YEARS BRO
delayed hitscan is like Harada saying rollback netcode is delay-based connection.
The game interactions are fun. Balance probably wild for a truly competitive game, but its FUN.

We need to see you review a top 500 Scarlet Witch for that Assassin gameplay.
I love playing Scarlet. I think she's a flexible character that can adapt what she's doing to provide answers to a lot of enemy tactics.
Without Venom, the best you have is
Web - E - Jump into Uppercut - Swing into Animation Cancel Web (MUST HIT OPPONENT) - Ground Slam
This combo is not too hard to master, but it’s very slow compared to other dive characters.
Wait, Cloak's blind ability causes them to take increased damage too? Oh man, I need to use that more
To be fair all that person did was state the obvious. The proportions in the game ARE ridiculous. Bad or good doesn’t matter it’s just true.

@@jimraynor7788 it is, and its projectile speed is 150m/s
My Hottake is that black panther is a single player game character with very little interaction happening
They literally list all the hero abilities on the official website and in 3 seconds I was able to read "Delayed projectile"
I do think supports are boosted up until a certain point and get stuck until they learn the actual game outside of "spam heal and try to not die". I didn't see any on my team that I would say were genuinely good until at least diamond/low GM.
I agree on the Spider Man doesn't take skill. Give him to any Doom or Genji one trick and they'll run lobbies after a day of practice
And how long did it take those Doom or Genji mains to build up the skill to pilot said heroes in the first place?
For the love of god don’t just hold right click on rocket, the healing doesn’t stack and you’re just wasting ammo for no reason.
no way, the Superheroes in the game based on Superheroes has exaggerated bodytypes 😮
Imagine being upset cause superheros have superhero physics
I would love to see someone who thinks supports are boosted win a comp match without supports.
The SW discussion got me thinking, what would she need to be viable in higher ranks ?
She is viable, people have one tricked her mostly to celestial but she is weak
She physically can not be viable in high ranks because then she would DOMINATE the game for 80% of the playerbase. There is literally not a single change you could make to her kit that would make her good in Masters that wouldn't be 70+% win rate in quick play and bronze 3.
Honestly the fact that she has a 47% winrate in Diamond and above and Bronze 3 according to rivalsmeta is a fucking anomaly that should be applauded by Netease
Copying from a post I made on r/marvelrivals
Scarlet Witch
Arguably the worst character in the game and looking to give her a boost in viability in higher ranks without effecting her too much in lower ranks. Attempting to tie her changes I made to landing directing hits with abilities which will be good for good players and not really changing a whole lot for players that can't aim in lower ranks. Low ranks will complain about the Ult no matter what so doesn't matter what changes are made to it.
New Ability
Passive -Curse: - When Chthonian Burst hits an enemy (directly not splash) or the enemy is in Dark Seal they will be marked/afflicted with Curse.
Curse will stun enemies for 0.5s, every 0.8s and lasts 4.5s. (Curse works like how Dark Seal works right now in game)
Attacks
Chaos Control: - Now only charges Chthonian Burst when the target is marked/afflicted by Curse.
Forces you to use it more in the open to give the enemy time during that full 4 second charge time to CC you out of it.
the alt attack should be stronger and a more viable means to play, that introduces skill expression
basically to be balanced for low and viable at high you need anything that allows skill expression in any form, to be better than the baseline bot
so moira for example usually wasnt considered strong at high rank, but there is still some expression through dash movement, trying to be unkillable, timing on positioning, i compare because its an autoaim succ character
introduce some synergy between abilities with a passive, or tweak something in the ult, something to make it more like dva bomb, which is a perfectly fine ult in high elo (arguably something to do with the fact wanda just fuckin dies against better players, but in my opinion there is a real use case in a luna vs luna where youre unkillable and the enemies are bunched up together and one-shottable, i quite wonder why scarlett players arent using the support ult situation with an ally ult to their advantage, for their survivability)
Swap main fire. Gain charge to your beam by landing projectiles. Reduce tracking immensely for the ray.
Shorten ult activation by 1 second. After explosion she gets a huge speed boost and/or okay shield for a few seconds.
Fixed.

if support is so "easy" why dont they play the role then
Because we don’t play characters based off their difficulty. We play characters based off how fun they are and more dps are more fun then supports. Also, what makes you think that the people saying support is easy aren’t playing support? I play every role and I think support is easy. It requires the least mechanical skill.

Support are the worst players ? Lmao stop healing dps and watch them run into the other team over and over again then proceed to blame you for not healing
You pretty much proved their point.
I don't know if that is comparable. These types of games are based on team fights where players assume the other players are going to naturally fill the role they chose - If a DPS is in a supports line of sight it's a natural assumption that they can take riskier fights because with a healer around they have higher effective health
Meanwhile.

Skill issue.
Luna is harder, when you play more CD it gets easy. Try putting the swap forms on mouse wheel. I have my invis on shift and the walls on both forms on right click. It helped me alot. Having just the bubble on E. When you swap forms hold jump to get to high ground.
This is definitely a hot take lmao

Tiny dot is the best for rocket. You watch his bullets, it’s closer to directing a stream than shooting bullets.

@ It reduces the prevalence of it.
QP is not where you go to practice. You'll only get real games in ranked. But I agree, top players should learn to be okay with losing to learn new characters rather than making a new account and starting from the bottom. Its very tricky situation.
QP haves EOMM, it does not have SBMM lmao
@@bobrabo3320They're too worried about their stats looking bad, boohoo.

These are actually bad takes on bad takes 😂
Stats for my accounts:
Main- Diamond rank
131 games
79 wins
Venom: 56% win rate
Thor: 52% win rate
Mantis: 60% (only have like 2 hours total with her as she is my fill)
2nd account: Gold rank
128 games
51 wins
Wanda: 39% win rate
Mr. Fantastic 42% win rate
Thor: 48% win rate
- I didn't play any other tank, but did dabble in other DPS like hawkeye and Iron man- all losses after like 2 games each
Now, does this prove losers queue is real?
During other support alts and during his ult you gotta be mashing that left click. That’s most of his damage 🤣🤣
I mean obviously they have to be good enough to keep the team alive it's there job
Squirrel girl take was THE hottest take
When will you start Timetagging or whatever its called the top ones you pick from 1 to last
too be fair, i really hope that Captain Marvel is a roid monster
Lilacspider, "you dont see any good supports till the upper 5% of players" - he is probably a dps player and plat max, cause that take is so unbelievably braindead. yes spiderman does lower dmg but u can between attacks move fast around and u are still not hittable, IF THE SPIDERMAN PLAYERS HAS HIS LIMBS ATTACHED
what a loser
