    i have both but like the slushi better my reason for liking the slushi better is i don't have to wait 24 hrs ,the quantity i can make and speed, most of times i just want an iced drink or milkshake today and not tomorrow so my wife and i use the creamy mostly to make ice creams when we can wait a day

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  4 місяці тому

      @kw1254 it makes it about like a Wendy's frosty. That's about as thick as it can make it, as any thicker and it wouldn't be able to come out of the machine. Not though.

      @@JoesPhenomenal what if you used soft-serve ice cream mix? Do you think it might be similar to soft custard?

    • @JoesPhenomenal

      @anthonyf3334 hmm.... Maybe... The Slushi just used gravity for the spigot though, so if it's thick, it won't come out of there, possibly.

    Thanks for this - I don’t have either yet but have been considering one of these
    Does seem like Creami does decently, and is more versatile- also, while its results aren’t as good or consistent as the Slushi, they actually seem more like a slushee from a standard US convenience store (won’t mention names, but it’s what I’d be more used to and kinda expecting anyway)
    Not to mention the Creami has a smaller footprint

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  2 місяці тому +1

      I saw that. Thanks for mentioning that. Totally forgot to say something about it. Tried it on both settings, and in my particular case, the frozen drink setting ended up making it a little more runny. It was still really good, but the slush setting just seemed to get it closer to the Slushi... for my particular mixture anyways... It's pretty subjective though.

    Do you think if you wouldn't have added the additional liquid in the creami , the consistency would be closer to what you get in the slushi? I feel like that could have affected the final consistency, but I could be wrong!!

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Місяць тому +2

      It would have still been quite a bit different. The slushi churns and freezes at the same time, so a lot more air gets in there to make it do that... Also, the Creami gets to start with a big frozen block, as well.

However, the slushi versions were consistenty lighter since they had so much more air in them. The texture on those held up longer in the mouth as well. Still nice in the Creami, but I felt like there was a lot more separation on those and it melted pretty fast in mouth. Hope that helps.
