REDAAAAAA THANK YOOOOUUUU. this is so wonderful, omg. And you did the thing!! with the whole "subtle kiss" bit!! (remember how i had said that I was hoping gochi would go to that part?? /that's/ the reason why and you!! did it!! omg ilu). I love how it starts off with them as kids, and then just sort of goes through their lives together. And then the end - "what i don't mind you don't mind" showing like Goku in his farmer outfit doing a job because Chi-Chi wants him too, and then slides on over to Chi-Chi being ok with him going off training despite the fact that she'd prefer that he'd be home. Good use of super's clips~ Just, ah man, thank you
Yay you caught the meaning at the end i'm happy hehe ~ It's fun to sneak in some Super scenes when appropriate (and I am trying to find and use less commonly used scenes now so there's that too). Also - yes - yes I did 'the thing' - hehe ^^ And, like, also, happy birthday mmkay. ;)
Nicely done. Best part in my opinion was "A Subtle kiss that no one sees." That was spot on and a great use of an otherwise flawed scene (since they didn't show the kiss). The only thing I wasn't a fan of were those vertical push transitions at the start. Maybe it comes down to preference, but it didn't feel right to me. They would have worked better horizontally in my opinion. Like how you did it at 0:22 That worked especially well because the position of the tractor provided you with a great transition - It made it look like it was the same shot. Also, is the screen supposed to go black at 0:21 or is that a rendering glitch? Just curious.
yeah i think that's preference; I liked the way the vertical looked better than the horizontal at the beginning; especially with how goku and chichi were on the same side of the screen for all but the first and last slide (that was my thought process anyway) ;P and yeah it's a transition thing so done on purpose (the going to black part), like the whole thing is a memory and fades down 'cause when the scene very subtly fades in there, goku's looking up --- but meh (funny that you like the horizontal transition 'cause it bugged me a little but the vertical one there definitely didn't look as good to me xD) also the 'subtle kiss that no one sees' line was the main reason i chose this part haha >.> but shh
