Whoever says that hasn’t watched him play
If he was drafted by the Raiders he's considered slow...if any other Team got him they would say he flies to the ball.
He's extremely slow sideline to sideline they just need to keep him out of those positions.
He is slow...and terrible in coverage.

The greatest asset for the best lbs is instinct. Ray lewis was the total package, but smarts and instinct can make up for being slower or less quick.

So as an Ohio guy and watching all the Ohio State games I've got to see Tommy a lot I agree with most of the breakdown butI think Tommy has a good shot at playing significant time early on because he's so smart and tough all he wants to do is play football then you add in Diablo whose ok but is injury prone.. Tommy could also pass up Masterson and Burney I have no doubts about that so basically all these guys I've mentioned better play their asses off because Eichenburg is coming..
I love this kid. Having AP as his HC and Spillane as mentor. He’s gonna be great. Honestly I think he could be even better than Spillane in a year or two. Great pickup
Very fair and balanced evaluation Ranjit. If Eisenberg is deficient getting disentangled from larger linemen as Mike LB, he can still start as Will LB where he can dispose of smaller blockers and cover TEs.

Luke Masterson actually outplayed Diablo… most of the time. Diablo is just so athletic they were hoping this development would meet his athletic ability.
@@belchmelch Luke's a LB, Diablo was a convert safety that hasn't; worked out. With prior regimes's Diablo would be resigned because they were hoping he would improve and wouldn't.

i hope and pray we have a "stout, suffocating, lockdown" defense, idk how i feel about the lockdown part though until we maybe sign a free agent cb, top 5 defense? hey sanjit where do you think we will rank respectively when this season is all said and done, offensively & defensively?
Solid passing down linebacker. 3rd and 4 or more hes perfect i wouldn't be as worried about a run or draw at that down and distance any less than 4 i wouldn't feel confident with him out there.

Great analysis Sanjit. TE is obviously smart and instinctive on the field, that's a great advantage for us. AP will coach him up more and unleash his potential.
LB is one of the toughest positions in football. Players in college are not nearly as fast and strong as they are in the NFL. You really need great lateral quickness and speed to guard fast TE’s and RBs. This is why people are saying he won’t be able to play in passing downs in the Pros. His college film can’t tell the overall story of his future play in the NFL because he lacks the speed. He will be good on certain downs though. But he probably won’t be an every down LB.

Nice commentary. He has a very good football speed, which is completely different than running a 40. Football speed is the most important, also he is very instinctive. I’m a big Ohio State fan and has watched him play on a regular basis. He is an Antonio Pierce type of guy.
Football fast because he is smart and watches lots of film so that he diagnoses plays quickly

You still need 3 or 4 LB and that’s what I see AP / Graham style during years of playing football line the Steelers / Giants defense with of course our defense Graham.

I kept arguing with someone about him not being good in coverage. Thought I was making great arguments too. But this whole time, I kept getting him mixed up with the LB out of Oklahoma 😂

When opposing tackles/guards pull he's gonna get embarrassed. Also, way too undersized to be a long-term LB in the NFL.

Just like our DB's, he will have a much clearer picture of the field with that devastating DL we have now. He needs to stick to Spillane like glue his entire offseason also, who's a great role model for any current LB!

Every negative thing that people have said about Eichenberg, everyone said about Spillane. Then Spillane met the AP/PG effect.
I'm a fan of the defensive side of the football. I can also appreciate the negative view point of a player. He'll get better.

Great video on tape of Eichenburgh. What are your credentials to be giving your thoughts on who and how of a players ability? Were you a coach somewhere. Where did you go to college? Ive asked you these questions before but you never answer me back. Does anybody know why he has toys on a shelf behind him and the tri pod? Whats that about? Always the same, no Raider gear besides the hat you wear, and you speak as if your some sort of scout? I’m just curious and I don’t mean any disrespect in any way. Just impressed with your all around level of knowledge on every position you critique..

No linebackers are good in coverage. The better the pass rush, less timer linebackers to get picked on.

The starting Line-Backers , should be Spillane, Masterson, and Eichenberg. Back-ups, Deablo, Burney, and Gainer.
I've seen highlights of Gainer. He looks good. I think he'll develop into a starter.
