I had a very similar experience with my little sphinx Alisa, I rescued her from an abusing household and ever since she is my reason to keep going and I have never experienced such true love from an animal, they are so giving and can change lives. I struggle with borderline personality disorder I am so grateful for having her in my life truly.

I'm in Ohio and I'm getting one in a few weeks ! I literally said she's going to be my emotional support cat because I also struggle with anxiety and depression. What is it like when you take her on walks ? Do you need a harness ? Does she try to run away?
I’m so excited for you! Mine is the best thing to ever happen to me. If you want them to go on walks I suggest taking them outside as early as they can and yes you need a harness and leash, mine likes to run! But at the end of the day, some like to go on walks and some don’t. Rowan loves to be outside but she doesn’t walk much.
pxnksie I still feed her what the previous owner fed her which is royal canine but I would highly recommend a more quality and organic diet like nulo or wellness! There’s also those brands who send fresh food each week which is great but can be quite pricey. I’m planning on switching her in a couple months because I tried to and she got sick so I stopped!
Lton yup, their super sensitive stomachs make it hard to switch. 😓 everyone just told me to ask for a vets recommendation that’s specified in cats. one more thing, how long were u on the waitlist for ur baby? 🥺
pxnksie I put a deposit down in December and since I said I didn’t want any specific type or gender , i was able to get one in January but the timing wasn’t right so I got my kitty in august! You could get one way sooner I just waited :)

Hi! I have a sphynx too, so I know what I'm talking about. Your cat is so skinny, I'm worried about her. You know, cats are predators and their biological food is meat. Sphynxes aren't an exception, their heat exchange literally depends on their nutrition. I feed my cat with boiled chicken and beef, sometimes raw, and he looks much stronger than your cat. Your kitten's bones are sticking out, which means she's malnourished. Please don't buy cat food, try meat feeding and you will see the difference.
Thanks for your suggestion! Since this video , she is almost one year next month and has gained a lot more weight. Her bones are not visible and she is the ideal weight for her age. I feed her what is recommended by her vet.
