- Looking for where to eat in Cayo Guillermo, Cuba? This hidden gem lobster shack by the Punta Rasa beach is one of the best restaurants in Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo!
Ranchon Punta Rasa Lobster Shack is very near Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo and Gran Muthu Imperial Cayo Guillermo. You can actually walk it from these Cuba resorts. What we did was asked the Gran Muthu Imperial resort bell boy to take us to the lobster shack using the golf cart.
I first went at night for dinner, having the $33 Lobster and Shrimp Meal with Drink (beer, wine or cocktail). You get two big lobster tails with delicious butter garlic sauce and topped with shrimps. It also comes with a plate of rice and fried plantains.
On my last day in Cayo Guillermo, I visited again for lunch this time because I wanted to see what it's like during the day. This time, I tried the Lobster, Shrimp and Fish Meal for $30 (USD25) and had a fresh made mojito for $2.50 (USD2).
I highly recommend checking out Ranchon Punta Rasa Lobster Shack in Cayo Guillermo, Cuba when staying at the resorts. Skip paying the add-on supplement on the resort restaurant and come here instead!
Hope this Cuba food vlog gives you an idea on where to eat Cuban Lobster in Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo, Cuba!

Now with all information from other visitors. Would you still book imperial or would you book something else in Cayo Coco ? In other words which resort in the best in Cayo Coco area in your opinion ?
This is the only resort I've been on in Cayo Coco so I can't say which one is the best. It was the best for my needs when I booked it. It's not fair to ask a travel blogger if they'd book something else cuz I would most likely always book something else so I can blog something new and try lol
Do they accept CAD at this restaurant or should I bring USD / Pesos?
@@Nick-tp7hd they do accept CAD
Did you walk there or taxi?
We asked the bell boy at our resort (Gran Muthu Imperial) to take as there with the golf cart. You can walk there too, especially if you're staying at Gran Muthu Cayo Guillermo.
@@TravellingFoodie how much you give the bell boy to take you there?
@@ybc8495 really up to you since it's more of a tip. But CAD5 per person is a good rule of thumb.
How much did the lobster dinner cost ?
It's on the title and also on the video 😅
30$CAD.
Going check it this evening.
@@DDTotalfitness yup, 25usd or 30cad.
